I have to agree. I got into a fight with someone over the phone hacking scandal concerning Scarlet Johansen because they were saying "if she was stupid enough to have that on her phone then they should be out there". As soon as I told him "what if you had a crazy ex who hacked your phone and took naked photos of you and put them somewhere public?" he got all defensive and said that would be a violation of privacy and a felony.

Apparently if you're a celebrity or public figure of any kind you're not entitled to any kind of privacy whatsoever.

As an aside, seeing these really increases my respect for the BSG film crew. From these pics she's about the same height as Seth Green (Which I think is something like 3'6'') but in that series she really appeared to be near to or above 6 feet.

Oh, wait. Maybe there are more than two possible reasons someone might take pictures of themselves like this on their phone. Maybe they were intended to be sent to someone who was already interested. This may be hard for you to wrap your head around, but sometimes people in a romantic relationship will do sexy little things like this for their partner. Imagine - and I'm sure you imagine things like this all the time - that you had a beautiful wife. Now, wouldn't it be nice to have a few sexy pictures of her that you could take a gander at from time to time just to make you smile?


And if you're in the public eye and not deleting those things as fast as you send them (and have a trusting partner that will do the same), you need a better pr expert advising you (not to mention a tech security group). Yes, celebrities do a lot of the same things that non-celebrities do. But here's a news-flash: celebrities are not non-celebrities. They have a lot more hackers and journalists looking for something, and plenty of people out there willing to turn on them for a quick buck.

Bottom line: if you don't want anybody seeing it, don't put it down someplace where it can be easily reproduced.
