Was it Sleep Train? Rush was their first celebrity endorser.

2012-03-02 01:53:28 PM
Yep, sleep train. That's huge. He's been supported by them for years. Dale's a good guy.

I don't think good people endorse people like Rush Limbaugh.

Sleep Train. Sounds like a porn film. Figures.

You can't have a Sleep Train without birth control.

He didn't endorse him. He used his program for advertising. That relationship started way back in the day when Rush was on KFBK and sleep train just had a store or two.

The Sleep Train has left the station

Makes good business sense. People on birth control have lots of sex. Sex wears out mattresses. Sleep Train gets a new sale.

Sleep train sounds like something you'd use for genocide...

2012-03-02 03:23:54 PM
He doesn't care. He personally is loaded and this will be the problem of those who pay him 400m to be a fat farking douche! This feeds into his martyrdom at the hands of limp wristed, pansy liberals and if it is decisive in people's opinion of the Repub party and they lose, do you think he cares? This guy preaches hate and division. The Repubs losing is good for him. He'll be a lot more popular as he rails against those in power farking everything up than he would be if he had to explain why his side in power, isn't really farking everything up.

It would be really weird if someone shot him in the face, most specifically the teeth.

2012-03-02 03:24:00 PM
I love that Rush already doubled down on these comments.

2012-03-02 03:24:28 PM
You know what they are? A bunch of sluts.

2012-03-02 03:26:33 PM
Ha ha! Those libs over at Sleep Train just need to understand that they're the butt of the joke.

This slut wants us to pay for her to have sex. Real Americans buy their own Dominican Republican airline tickets and their own child slaves.

ha ha ha. sleep train should be on the backs of all the Georgetown coeds. if the company doesn't do this, they are missing out on a great PR opportunity.

Vodka Zombie: don't think good people endorse people like Rush Limbaugh.

1000x this.

In a just world the women involved with each of Rush's corporate supporters (customers, workers, executives) would put an end to him right now. Although the "Rush makes a lot of sense but sometimes goes too far" crowd will still be there, it would be satisfying to see him got down in flames once and for all.

Unfortunately that ain't gonna happen.

First amendment rights cut in all directions. Rush is about to learn what Glenn Beck did, that he's finally crossed the line and the crap he says as a talk radio personality no longer passes as political discourse. Let the free market take him off the air. Boycott his advertisers and send them letters, tweets, etc.

What's with all these mattress companies buying ad time on Rush's show? Do most of his listeners lay in bed pleasuring themselves while listening to his crap?

2012-03-02 03:30:14 PM
Ad dollars must be way down, Rush's commercial breaks are longer than ever and he is even sneaking ads into the program itself.

As for Sleep Train - *this* is what drove you away? After all the other vile things Rush has sai this one was too much? Glad to see you grew a morality but damn it took long enough.

2012-03-02 03:32:10 PM
Of all the vile things that man has said, this is somehow crossing the line in a sponsor's eyes?

dogdaze: I just emailed Oreck Upright Vacuum Cleaners and told them that I am boycotting them until either they drop their advertising or Rush apologizes to all women, or as I call them, upright vacuum cleaners, for his sexist comments.

2012-03-02 03:34:13 PM
How is this Ironic?

2012-03-02 03:34:52 PM
Apparently Sleep Number has suspended its advertisements on Rush's program as well. At least according to Keith Olbermann, via my Twitter feed:

@SleepNumberSara Recent comments by Rush Limbaugh do not align w/our values, so we made decision to immediately suspend all advertising on that program.

Yeah. She meant 6th Amendment, I think. Maybe 13th.

Actually, it's from the birther-jerk yesterday. Apparently, Obama's mother's citizenship is a 2nd Amendment issue.

Yes. They actually said that too.

we want you to post the videos online so we can all watch - Rush Limbaugh

I'm pretty sure he was being rhetorical with this statement and wouldn't have actually watched the videos. Now those pre-teen boys getting vaccinated for HPV...

Limbaugh is loving it. So much free publicity, his ratings are at all time highs, everyone talking about him. And all the GOP politicians who will be apologizing to him tomorrow for criticizing him.

After all, Rush Limbaugh is the leader of the Republican party, and you don't criticize the boss.

Companies like people to continue to buy their products, so they try to protect their brand name.
