The montreal fans have been rather quiet this year. Usually they are extremely obnoxious and rather quick to put down other canadian teams....

Well, they are barely the second worst Canadian team at the moment.

I'm still laughing at Setoguchi eating it.

It's been a tough year to be a Habs fan but I can feel good at seasons end if we beat the Leafs Saturday and hurt their playoff chances further

/promise to make up for decline by being even more obnoxious next year
//was actually hoping they lost to get a better pick
///first greenlight in quite awhile

The better story is Ryan Miller standing on his head for back to back shutouts. Also Cody Hodgson looks great so far. Sabres play the Canucks tomorrow. Ought to see some fireworks.

This. Probably the hardest season to be a Habs fan in recent memory, but a win over the leafs always cheers me up.

I'm only looking forward to the two Habs-Leafs games. They can tank the rest of the season for all I care. This summer will be housecleaing for the habs. Goodbye Gomez.

Please do win, I have 2 bets on the go with coworkers that look like it might come down to the wire. Leafs do NOT make the playoffs ( i win ) , Phil kessel does NOT score 41 goals or more ( i win ).

So if you want to have price throw down a shutout, i wont mind.

I submitted it, but it didn't get greenlit.

Ryan Miller is the first NHL goalie to record shutouts in consecutive nights since Ryan Miller did it in Dec. 2010.

I noticed the other day how many Bruins fans that I favorited during last years playoffs. There are a lot of them. Of course, I have quite a few other hockey farkers like yourself faved as well.

Guessing it's because "hey, look, this team is winning and we like a winner" - Yes, I know many Farkers were Boston fans before, but it does happen. Especially when someone just gets turned on to a sport and they catch the winning fever. Either way, it's good to get more people on the hockey bandwagon.

Remember it's not Montreal that's universally hated, it's Vancouver.

Quick, have someone break his neck!

Off-year for the Habs...but it's not a total trainwreck in the long term. Price is the best goalie in the league (maybe not stats-wise yet, but he's the most talented), PK will get it together, Patches can be a 30-goal guy for sure and Emelin hits everything that moves (even when it's on his team). This is not a disaster like the Leafs, who after 4 years of rebuilding can't even squeak into the playoffs.

I'll take one really shiat year if it means a high draft pick and a change in mentality. Let's change this thing for good. Get a good GM and back office team in and build a team for today's NHL. This offseason will be very telling as to where the team is headed.

I don't know where the f*ck Desharnais came from, but I think he's netted me like 8 points in the last three or four games since I added him to my fantasy team.

So, thanks, I guess.

So far, he's been my favorite new addition... I was getting giddy looking at his highlights the other day. He had a few good hits and blocked shots last night in his debut with the Bruins. Absolutely planted someone at the blue line last night. Didn't catch the planted player's name. He hits like a freight train. Happy to have him in the Black and Gold, at any rate.

Can't wait 'til Boychuk's back so they can bench Corvo. He's been a bit of a disappointment.

It was David Clarkson he planted; probably the toughest top-3 line guy on the Devils. Didn't know Zanon could be that beastly.

Thanks... Check out some of the hits he had with Minnesota. He is indeed a beast, as far as hitting goes.

Didn't know much about him until he came to the Bruins, but I think he's going to endear himself to Bruins' fans rather quickly. He fits in perfectly with the Bruins system and style from what I saw last night.

Thanks! The "Luongo" is a little off and I probably should have added a bit of a cast shadow to have it match the "Cooper" a bit better, but "Quick and Dirty", as they say.

Hodgson and Ehrhoff versus Kassian and Gragnani.

BTW, I hope you guys enjoys Grags and his penchant for gift-wrapping turnovers in his own zone.

He's been pretty responsible so far. He's got good smarts/vision and he might be the replacement for Ehrhoff that our powerplay needs (not that the #1 powerplay in the league needs anything.... that is, when we get powerplays).

Kassian has made his mark early as a poor man's Lucic and has already become a fan favorite with his bull-in-a-china-shop style. Almost scored yesterday, too. We're still hurting over losing Hodgson but Kassian is somewhat making us forget how bad of a deal it was. Well, it might not be a bad deal at all -- both players are young, they're both first round picks and they both have huge futures in front of them. You'd think Vancouver armchair GMs would learn by now not to second guess Mike Gillis.

There's reports coming out now that Hodgson did specifically request a trade and was complaining a lot about his ice time. He's too damn good for third line minutes and he's never going to crack the top 6 with Kesler and Sedin, so shipping him out may have been the best thing for his career and the team. Depression tends to be contagious, and the last thing the dressing room needs is a guy moping around all sullen n shiat. Bad for team harmony.

But he'll definitely get a royal welcome tomorrow. It's fitting to have Buffalo roll through now because it will let this city say goodbye to Hodgson properly. The deadline deal still feels like a punch in the gut.

As a Bruins' fan, I gotta say Montreal is still number one on the "Hate List" for me... And yes, I am enjoying their season immensely. The Vancouver rivalry is good, but it's got a long way to go before it reaches Montreal proportions.

I have way more graphics for Montreal than I do for Vancouver, at any rate. : )
