Mad at Rush? Whatever for? The feeling I have is pity. A grown man feels compelled to behave like a 12 year old social outcast to keep his audience tuned in. He reminds me of the "I crush your head" guy on Kids In The Hall.

MeinRS6: James!: MeinRS6: James!: MeinRS6: James!: Oh you would like to change the subject wouldn't you. Sorry, this is your party. You have to sink with them.

I wasn't changing the subject. Rush's bit was about the contraception issue. The entire joke is making fun of what libs are doing with this issue right now.

His jokes will kill your election chances, you should clean your own house before trying to get democrats to ignore your mess.

The Repub field will kill the election chances, not Rush keeping his ratings up.

Learn the difference between the "outrage of the day" and the actual big picture. I'll do whatever I can to help you.

Oh, you must have thought the only election this year was for president. I hate to kill your joy. I won't tell you about the others.

Like I said before, you may be correct that the idiot libtard base is stupid enough to believe the lies of Dems. After all, they usually are. For all I know, you think that if Romney is elected that contraception will be banned in 2013. I never know the level of crazy that I'm talking to on Fark. It usually reveals itself though.

You don't need to worry about fark. You need to worry about the rest of the country... oh wait, the antics of your candidates and media reps has already lost them. Oh well, call other people stupid some more. I'm sure it will help you feel better.

No, they shouldn't, but the elected representatives or your party have had to apologize to Rush often enough in the last few years that he's taken over whatever usefulness the party had.

If you can find a party that has an honest, responsible fiscal conservatism without a social conservatism taking over when your turn your back then let me know. Those are the guys we need as a counterpoint. Instead we have Rush.

You expect liberals to forgive the obvious failures of rhetoric that republicans make? Perhaps you'd like them to just drop out of elections so you don't have to apply yourself? Things should be handed to you I suppose.

The point of the whole bit is 1) point out that people should pay for their own contraception and 2) make libs mad as hell and laugh at them as they fall apart in a wave of political correctness.

A lot of libs think Rush is a politician. He's not.

Yes, make libs upset enough to vote in a safe election for democrats. Great job.

Santorum does. But you have more to worry about than that. You've already admitted they stand no chance against Obama, so you have to worry about them holding the line in the senate and house. They will not. Your time would be better spent convincing republicans to say less inflammatory things than it is here trying to convince farkers that they're hearing things wrong.

He wants to. There have been numerous fark threads about his statements. They contain videos and quotes. You're wrong here.

Again, so you get it, "wanting to" is a seperatw issue from "can they." If you want to talk about candidates that CAN, that's a separate issue.

Well, you're right in the sense that Santorum has not come out and specifically said that he would support a bill banning the sale or use of contraception, at either the federal or state level. However, he has stated that he believes that Griswold v. Connecticut was "wrongly decided". This was the Supreme Court decision which ruled that it was unconstitutional for individual states to ban the sale of contraception.

So yes, a President cannot make the nationwide sale of contraception illegal, and Rick Santorum has not said that he would try. However, he clearly does believe that individual states can make it illegal if they so choose, and it is a safe assumption that if Santorum was a state legislator voting on such a bill, he would support it (a ban).

Eisenhower was great, I would love to get back to someone like that, but the times are different and that is impossible for now. We are not experiencing anything like the post-war's amazing prosperity and growth at the moment. Nixon was a pretty goddamn good president, albeit a crook and a dick, and Ford was OK. without the boomers the republicans become a regional party of the south.

phreaknes: Ok whats this guys deal anyone else in radio would have been fired and hung out to dry with these kinds of comments How does Rush get around this crap?

Because his audience doesn't care. In fact, they applaud him when he does things like this because it pisses off liberals. As long as the ratings stay up, he can say damn near anything he wants.

simplicimus: MeinRS6: simplicimus: MeinRS6: simplicimus: The FDA could limit the distribution for all but medical purposes.

Now there's some good ol' libby crazy!

Well done.

Thanks. I'm not saying it feasible, just possible.

Now if only all liberals would be at least that honest.

But why would they be honest, after they've put so much effort into this particular red herring?

You want to be honest? Big Pharma makes too much money from this to allow it to happen.

You don't have to make a big corporate conspiracy out of it. There's no there there. It's just a lib manufactured red herring.

The entire premise that the Dems are working from right now is retarded, thus Rush making so much fun of this dumb lib girl that said things in her statement like "I can see the pain in the faces of women on campus from their dealing with issues involving contraception". That kind of stupid shiat should be made fun of.

Follow the money is not a conspiracy theory.

Kazan: Makh: Does anyone still care what Rush says as this point?

millions of republicans who listen to him every day.

Republicans who apparently still think of lady parts as something to snicker over.

Today is the day the GOP died. With the raving fringe insisting that Brietbart was murdered, Romney muttering disingenuously about trash bags, the state legislature of Kansas voting on whether or not women should be allowed to know whats happening to their own bodies and the last sad gasp of Rush Limbaugh reduced to trolling women for having vaginas.

This is the way the GOP ends
This is the way the GOP ends
Not with a bang but a snicker.

So you're saying that it is impossible because of money, but libs are pushing this nonsense with all their might these days. So I guess we agree that they are ridiculous liars.
