All of the ESPN "bloggers" are freaking annoying in their own way. Sando's love of inane statistics is ridiculous.

I wonder how much ESPN actually pays these knob bloggers.

I don't know who he is, but if the average espn commenter hates him, I think I will like him.

One day, photos will come out of Colin Cowherd, Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless, and Jemele Hill betting on cockfighting, and they will become instantly unemployable by any sports agency.

And the world will be a much better place.

So a whiny, anonymous, amorphous mob that is ESPN's comments section is upset that a blogger copypastas unverified rumors that will be dispelled by the start of the season instead of creating his own unverifiable rumors that will be dispelled by the start of the season?

This level of stupidity is almost on par with oh-whats-his-names annual guessing game where he tries to pick a perfect March Madness bracket, and ESPN gives him an hour of airtime to do it.

No, they appear to be upset that he copypastas rumors rather than doing actual original reporting based on what's happening to the four teams. Also he posts worthless stats that nobody cares about or uses.

Me too. I liked his interview with Shanahan from the latter half of the season.

ESPN cant fire Yasinkas by popular demand. Once they started where would they stop?

I have been a long time reader of PY's blog on ESPN and even caught the occasional article from him when he was the beat guy for Carolina years ago if he wrote anything relevant to the Saints.

I get the hate too. He doesn't really have any insight into anything that he doesn't pick up from some other source. His pieces are often pretty bland and he tends to stray away from anything bordering on controversial. If he does offer a thought, he's likely to publish or write something that completely negates it later on. And most times he really just seems to be a middle-man between the reader and "The awesome guys down at ESPN Stats & Information".

Whatever, get somebody in there that wants to do something creative. Or go to Canal Street Chronicles...

I love watching Skip Bayless. It's hilarious seeing him troll professional athletes and other people with legitimate insight and seeing the reactions he gets. Nothing like seeing him being called a douchebag by T-Sizzle on national TV.

It's weird seeing ESPN trying to sex up Jemele Hill by lathering her up in makeup and getting her in skirts. Not working so well.

Either way ESPN is great if you like sports from a trolling perspective.

Even though I was initally full of mistrust (given his writing credit in Denver), Bill Williamson isn't terrible for the AFC West.

I'll admit my standard wasn't very high; all he has to do is not be the anti-Raider guy 24/7 and he's fine in my book. Unlike PY, he actually gives a take every now and again.

No, not lazy at all. The purpose of these spreadsheets, though, are generally ridiculous stat-driven discussions (oh, let's compare the weight of all of the second rounders put drafted in 1999 and see how many tackles they made that year!) and pointless. He seems like he would have a happier life as a baseball fan.

I've always liked the NFC North guy, Kevin Seifert. He frequently posts comments, takes suggestions, and mentions comments in this articles. I think he does a great job. I haven't read the NFC South guy, but I got the impression no one liked him before this "petition".

Seconded. Sando's pretty good, Hill's a textbook affirmitive action hire who wouldn't have a job if she wasn't black and/or female but still acts like she's being discriminated against.

Still, the worst sportswriter alive right now has to be Rick "resting on his laurels" Riley.

I don't deny that I posted it here. More than half the comments on every one of this guy's posts are hatred of him. There's several others besides me commenting on him, on this thread and virtually every other. I found it comical, I posted it. If you have a problem with the fact it's here, biatch at who greenlit it. Everyone on Fark submits things they personally find funny or cool. Sometimes, it's them out and out begging for money for themselves! (A kickstarter project about a month ago) It's up to the Fark mods whether or not to greenlight, and they turn down more of my submissions than they approve. Obviously, they agree with me. So what's your gripe again?

Back when I could watch ESPN's american programming over here, I figured Skip Bayless was just a slightly less coherent/endearing version of Woody Paige.. then I saw his Twitter feed. The man has a more than a huge crush on Tim Tebow, he seems to want to go all 'Misery' on him. It's actually disturbing

Hahaha...Yatsinskas learned his trade at the Charlotte Observer, where the motto is "Why get out of bed when you can read other people's articles and comment on them just like our readers do?"
