I take it you DNRTFA

but, on to the matter I wanted to address:

the investigator in TFA said: "It was like finding a needle in a stack of needles,"

but, I don't know if that's true... the leaves were right there on his boots. it's like finding a needle on a pin cushion. Perhaps it's tough to find the rare bush (great name for a band), but I doubt it. If I had a leaf issue, the first place I'd go is to a nursery, ask around, those people know their bushes. and in this case, it was one of their bushes. mystery solved by the first or second source (what town has more than a couple nurseries?).

"manual Strangulation" I thought all strangled murders required manual labor. It's not like you could just hand them the rope and they do it themselves. I am looking at you China.

He didn't say he was looking for a specific needle in that stack of needles. Maybe he was just looking for a needle and, hey!, there's a stack of needles! Just what I needed!

They give a +15 bonus to move silently checks, but can only be worn by rangers and druids.

Within the bag was a smaller bag containing Mrs. Stahl's burned driver's license, her charred Derry Area School District identification card and a burned checkbook, along with her family photos.

Two questions...first, WHY would he keep that in his basement when he KNEW the police would eventually come around asking questions. Did he honestly think they would just stop by, tell him they were sorry for his loss and promise to keep him up to date?

Second, the guy obviously tried to destroy the evidence...but how inept do you have to be to fail that badly? Toss it in the grill, add lighter fluid and strike a match. I think some people must just want to get caught.

Don't bother us right now. We're helping Barney try to find a needle in this stack of needles.

Trooper Limani said that Mr. Stahl had a history of acting violently toward his wife when he was drinking. In 2007, Mrs. Stahl filed a protection-from-abuse order against Mr. Stahl, then her fiance, after he came home drunk on his 37th birthday, demanded sexual acts, ripped hair from her head and threw her down a flight of stairs.

She should have should leafed him when he did that before.

What a sad story. The last sentence where her brother tells the little girls from her class to never let a man disrespect them was especially moving.

A wonderful co-worker of mine has a violent, loser of a baby daddy that she allows to watch her son multiple times a week. We've all heard the horrible stories (him driving drunk with the baby until passes out in the middle of a street, him disappearing on drug binges, him being emotionally and verbally abusive, etc.), have extended tons of aid, but she rejects it and let's him back in. It's awful to say, but it's to the point that whatever happens will be 100 percent her fault. I hope she comes to her senses in time.

Seriously - what was she thinking? Oh, he'll change once we get married? The first sign you probably should not get married is when he comes home drunk, rips out your hair and demands a hummer

Considering that the abuse began before she even married this jerk and continued with regularity, I'm ruling this a suicide.
