Count me in on this. Only series beyond TNG that I could get into. Personally could not stand DS9, maybe it got good later but could never get there, and seriously any series that has that much Ferengi annoys the fark outta me.

But Voyager had a very interesting dynamic that I think played well and told a different story with some real discovery ability. Just my 2 cents tho.

If he had a decent contract he does. Between TNG and most of DS9, if he got residuals and a piece of the DVDs, sure.

Anyone else think LeVar looks really weird without the air filter or at least the silver contacts?

A roommate and I both agreed that it would have been best if Voyager had self-destructed and the only survivors were Torres, 7 of 9 and the Doctor in a lone shuttlecraft. Each episode would be the Doctor and 7 of 9 trading quips while Torres tried to kill herself in a new and interesting way for being a weak half-human. Then the Doctor would cure Torres in time for the happy ending, with a go-go number from the Banana Splits.

Wow... that sounds quite amusing for sure. The doctor has to be my favorite character from the the series, and I like 7 of 9 for the character more than teh sexy, those that was not a bad fringe benefit. I really gained respect for her impression of Picardo when he downloaded himself into her (giggity).

If you're talking about the one made of goo, I thought it disintegrated while playing out their assumed character roles? I think voyager prime got a hint of their meeting up as the ship finally dissolved type of thing. Though there were a number of phase-shifting/alternate reality things so maybe I am forgetting another version.

What are you referring to when you say the alternate Voyager? The final episode has Janeway going back in time to help them get home faster (since in her timeline they got home but it took longer and there were casualties).

If you're referring to the demon class planet duplicates of Voyager, they got destroyed in the episode Oblivion (I think) when their ship finally fell apart since it couldn't survive outside of the demon class planet. The real Voyager kept on trucking.

Or I suppose you could be talking about the episode where they get split into two Voyagers and then they are both using the same warp core. The Vidians are after them and one of the Voyagers gets boarded and destroys itself, allowing the other Voyager to escape.

Then there are some timeline changing episodes (like the finale), but I don't really consider them alternate Voyagers.

There was the Year of Hell 2 parter where in the end time gets reset and they never end up encountering the Kremin at all so nothing that happened in the episodes actually happened.

Also the episode Relativity where 7 has to keep going back in time to figure out who's sabotaging Voyager and she keeps jumping to different Voyagers in different time periods, but in the end that's all resolved.

Those are the only episodes that I can think of with "alternate" Voyagers (of course I could be forgetting something).

/Why yes I do love the show despite thinking they could have had more/longer story arcs.

I've known this all along, but it's nice to hear an actual Trek cast member say it: "Paramount had run the "Star Trek" universe into the ground and caused "Star Trek" to not be special anymore".

Also, Voyager and Enterprise weren't the problem. Paramount deciding to use two consecutive spin-offs of a franchise that they were already milking to death for the sake of launching a TV network that failed anyway--THAT was the problem.
