"Gov. Rick Snyder of Michigan, who endorsed Mr. Romney, said he was disappointed by the acrimony that had overshadowed plans to create jobs and lift the economy. "

Tax breaks for the rich, tax increases for the poor, and trying to legislate a woman's hoo-hah are NOT plans to create jobs and lift the economy.

Hell, jobs and economy haven't been a campaign issue for a few weeks now at this point. It's all about Government in Women's bodies, abortion (again), contraception, Santorum frothily talking about Higher Education and how it's indoctrinating people and other stupid shiat I remember hearing in 1995. Apparently that frothy turd is going to be in NW Ohio (Holiday Inn in Perrysburg) next week. I am frustrated, I would go dressed in brown handing out condoms printed with a warning to "suit up before frothing".

Vagina watching has been a long time free service that I have provided to society. It is high time that society learn the value of what I have been providing and start paying proper living wages for this important job. I for one welcome the Republicans attention to this matter and await a time when I can make a living watching vagina's, as god intended.

Not to mention that Snyder has done everything he can do to the opposite effect. Canceling the tax credits for Hollywood lost us The Dark Knight Rises AND The Avengers, he has canceled grants and tax breaks to companies attempting to convert old manufacturing facilities into making green tech like wind/wave generators and electric motors...

Oh, and not forgetting the whole "kick out your city counsil and give full rule to one of my buddies" and various union busting things.

I'm sorry, though, this was about that toolbag Romney. I don't say this often these days, but I'm with Bill Mahar. I think he may be an alien.

Hey, I heard Romney say he'd balance the budget by eliminating the Corporation For Public Broadcasting, so clearly he don't need worry about the economy any more.

This horrid GOP primary season isn't just about how unqualified the wannabe candidates are, but also how impossible it is to be accepted by the deranged, demanding, unreasonable, downright psychotic nature of the typical republican voters out there. I don't think even a Marvel supervillian has what it takes to make these noisy manbabies happy.

The only way to cure this disease that is killing our nation isn't just by getting rid of these con artists who seek power, but to do something about the idiots on street level who use the republican party as an excuse to be a bunch of boorish snarling thugs.

You take the "republican" moniker away from these people and you see them for what they really are: brats, punks, and a-holes. Society has little tolerance for brats, punks, and a-holes, so why are we tolerating them simply because they call it "being a republican"?

Someone needs to start a website called 1%er Problems.

My NASCAR owner friend races Fords, but I own Cadillacs. Awkward.

I forgot the pin number and password to my Cayman Island account.

I invited 5 corporations over for dinner, but no one showed up!

I paid more money to my tax accountants than I did in taxes.

Had to mingle with commoners again today, why can't I just buy the Presidency?

That's no excuse to tolerate them. If you saw someone out in public being a dick, then they are a dick. You may even intervene, depending on the level of dickery, especially if they're being violent and innocent people are in danger.

But, if they call themselves a republican while being a dick? That's supposed to make their disgusting behavior OK?

No, no. You see the like 1% growth or whatever had had in Michigan is totally due to Snyder because he's a "smart businessman". It has nothing to do with the auto industry recovering slightly.

Watching Republican politics is like watching a friend with a gambling problem destroy his life and take his family down with him. He keeps losing money, and goes to all of his friends to borrow more, and he's so charming that his friends keep trusting him even though he always farks them over. Similarly, America keeps electing schmucks who lower taxes on the rich and promise "Job Creationtm." When that doesn't happen (or when it does we replace $30/hour jobs with benefits with $6.50 part time jobs) Republicans insist regulation is the problem, so we remove regulations. When that blows up in our faces because...shockingly, millionaires have no problem destroying the economy to turn themselves into billionaires, Republicans have the brilliant solution: Tax Cuts!

I wonder what Republicans would do if they could have everything they wanted for the next 5 years? I mean, if Democrats just went on strike and said: "Go ahead, you're in charge of all of it, we all quit." Who would they blame when it all fell apart?

Stolen from wikipedia:
The Art of War has been applied to many fields well outside of the military. Much of the text is about how to fight wars without actually having to do battle: it gives tips on how to outsmart one's opponent so that physical battle is not necessary. As such, it has found application as a training guide for many competitive endeavors that do not involve actual combat.

There's a part of me that wants to see that. We've been slowly destroying ourselves for 30 years. Would it be so bad to just put a bullet in our own collective head instead of dragging it out any further?

I think I've inadvertently invented a new drinking game. Everyone goes around predicting what excuse Republicans would make if they got everything they wanted and it failed miserably. If you can't think of one, take a drink. If someone says something that sounds actually possible, everyone takes a drink.
