The look on his face makes me think she's got a hold of his testicles and warned him look happy for the camera or he'd be coughing up sperm.

I am a Beakman fan too. I watched the first Brady Bunch movie the other day, was that the first Liza who played the part of the lesbo who was hot for Marsha?

She was "Josie", but yes, the first sidekick/lovely assistant. Also played "Naomi" the crazy waitress in "Waiting..." and was very funny (esp. in the unrated version).

/Preferred Beakman too
//Although Nye gained my respect when he played the Science Guy in a recent music video for Palmdale (Kay Hanley, formerly of Letters to Cleo).

Interesting side note, from Wiki:

Nye announced his engagement during an appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and was married briefly to his fiancée of five months, author Blair Tindall, on February 3, 2006. (Snip) Nye left the relationship seven weeks later when the marriage license was declared invalid;[45] their impromptu ceremony, which preceded the license purchase, violated California state law, said Tindall in a radio interview.[46]

She had a part on Showtimes Hung. I couldn't figure out why seeing her lovely naked tits turned me on so much, so when I went to imdb to figure out where I knew her from and realized she was the assistant on Beakmans World who I had a crush on when I was a kid, I shiat bricks.

I wouldn't say I was a huge fan of any of the SG shows, but I watched enough of them to be very entertained by the McKay / Nye Feud...

You know, Mr. Wizard never had problems like this.

I guess he knew how to keep his hoes in line. Or, he would just get a new one after the old one exploded in a science mishap.

Whatever your preferred science show was, it was nice to at least have one show (and we were lucky enough to have two) devoted to teaching science to children in a fun way.

I don't think there is a comparable show out there now. Good Eats comes to mind but that is geared more towards adults (and cooking) then children and science (and is also not producing new episodes any longer)

/watched Bill Nye more, because I rarely got a channel that had Beekman's World
/only got NBC and PBS regularly as a kid, if the weather was lucky we could pull in ABC, CBS, and Fox, but they were full of static even then

Ugh, I've been through this with an ex and believe me, it's painful enough without the theft and impersonation or legal battles.

It's like being in a relationship with someone who's psychologically abusive, except the relationship is in the past.

Or he could just have grown up out in the boondocks.

WienerButt: You sound poor.

If by "poor" you mean on a 500 acre farm that had 6 barns, two large machinery sheds with about 10 tractors, a combine (which new goes for over 6 figures), various other farm equipment, a workshop with welders, lathes, and basically a full woodworking shop.

Also a dump truck, 3 farm trucks, 20 head of cattle, ~500-750 swine, two houses, 3 large grain bins, and other various things that I can't think of at the moment....

Then yes, I was poor..........or maybe it was because, as somebody stated above, I lived out in the sticks, before small satellite dishes were affordable enough. We could have easily bought one, but when you live on a farm, you only have about an hour a night to watch TV...and dad controlled the remote, (but he let us watch Saturday morning cartoons before we had to go work at least), so having more then a few channels was a waste of money.

/had an awesome childhood, even with the hard work
