Good idea: having a couple weeks of food, water, medicine, and emergency supplies in case a natural disaster occurs and regular transportation is disrupted.

In other news, wyoming is a place which basically be divided into two groups - dirt poor type people and evil rich white people. i'm not saying that they're evil because they're white or evil because they're rich or any such nonsense - there just literally happens to be a bunch of evil rich white people there, of which dick cheney is a perfect example. basically, they are tax exiles who use the fiction of wyoming residency as a means to enrich themselves. i took a long horse ride in the lands around jackson (something you can do on google earth) and saw dozens and dozens of empty $20m+ megamansions that serve as legal residences for people who don't actually happen to be there like ever.

It's really frightening how racist this country really is. All that progress we thought we made since the civil rights movement can officially be chalked up to "white people didn't have much to complain about until they stole the White House".

Yeah so I read the Bill. It gives $32000 to reimburse travel and per diem for people from the state to meet with Federal officials to discuss the impacts. Didn't see any mention of aircraft carriers or strike aircraft. $32000 is nothing to them since they are one of the only states in the black.

I don't think this has anything to due with the national government. Didn't you see "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" the wyoming government is now just getting off their lazy asses and using this bill to start gathering info on how to deal with a real alien attack.

If the population of Wyoming were compared to USA cities, it would be like #25, somewhere around Memphis. Even jokes about the last person still living in Detroit ... Detroit's population at #18 is still >700K. Wyoming is only >500K.
