(My Fox DC)   When trying to convince the world you had nothing to do with the murder - you probably shouldn't wear a 'prison jumpsuit orange' shirt for the TV interview   (myfoxdc.com) divider line 19

I've usually found that the difference between "Prison Orange" and "Deer Huntin' Blaze" is only about as wide as your distance from downtown.

Plus, he's got what looks like a silver bracelet on one wrist and a silver-toned watch on the other. At first glance, that photo looks like a handcuffed prisoner in an orange jail jumpsuit.

It certainly enhances the effect. I agree.

Let's be honest. They know it's not the color of the guy's shirt that's questionable.

If Mr. King believes he was treated unfairly he can contact us and we would be happy to look into it."

I've never understood this kind of comment. Why not just take the presence of a TV crew asking about the incident as an indication that you might have pissed someone off?

Also, the evidence against him was an ID found on the floor of a bar after it cleared out following a shooting? Is it so unreasonable to believe that someone dropped their license and that it got kicked around as everyone ran out the place? Or to put it another way, isn't that a lot more reasonable than thinking that King shot the dead guy, waited for everyone to run out, and then dropped his ID on the body Col. Kilgore style?

At first glance?! Until I RTFThread, that's what I thought that screencap was!

Yeah, he choose his wardrobe poorly that day.

/He didn't deserve to get fired over that though

It is my understannding that prisinors going to trial often have street clothes made available to them before hand so tht the jail outfit does not influence the jury pool.
If you opt to wear the colors and general appearance by choice? Well.. sucks to be you.
