My girlfriend commandeers the TV on those nights, and she forces me to watch that show. I can say, I've never seen a more horrible group of people anywhere, and I've covered Tea Party rallies, White Supremacist gatherings, and local school board elections.

/I saw this one episode a long time ago, the people had to climb this hill (which was the exercise part, i get it) then they slid down the hill, wet banana style. The whole time they slid down, they played (stewie following the fat guy around playing fat music). Never watched it again.

Bad. As TFA said, there aren't many inspirational - or even interesting - stories and I haven't found one person to be worthwhile this season.

Put it this way, I really like The Biggest Loser and have seen almost every season, but I watch "The River" instead. Yup, I'm that show's only viewer and it's 100% in protest of this season of TBL's collection of douchebaggery.

Have they ever hung a donut from a stick attached to a headband and then made one of the fat people chase it around all day? I'd watch that.

Treat a bunch of fat people like cows and don't be surprised when they stampede.

I'm reminded of one of those TV age adages... Watching people do something makes it less likely that you'll do it. Be that porn or weight loss or cooking.

Mrs. robertus and I watch the show (albeit fast forwarding through a lot of it, hooray DVR), and this cast has been wholly terrible. There are maybe two remaining contestants we don't loathe. In most seasons, there are a couple of whiny biatches, and we can say "man, I don't want that guy and/or gal to win," but this year we're like that with all of them.

/Cassandra (^) and Megan (^) are the default favorites in the robertus household, at least heading into the last episode (which we haven't watched). The rest can pound sand.

same. my GF likes the show, and i don't have any great objection to it (usually i'm reading a book or surfing so its background noise to me) but this season has been so bad i actively refuse to watch it. i go watch the river in the bedroom instead, or just read by myself. it makes me angry overhearing them

Conda is a living, breathing, replica of Eric Cartman.....but more vile, evil, and disgusting.....and not the least bit funny.

Producers royally screwed up by turning this season into Survivor with morbidly obese psychopaths.

It seems like this season, they just said screw it, lets go all in on the drama. There is one person on the show, Conda, this tubby 23 year old bucket of lard, who is just farking evil. While I think she is mostly responsible for the downfall this season, it just seems like this cast more so than any previous season, is just about the money. The whole point of the show is to lose weight and hopefully inspire others to as well. They are just a bunch of money grubbing biatches.

Seems that way. I haven't seen a hint of this show in years since i lived with my old roommates who watched religiously. But judging by the story, they're upset with this plot twist because bringing back contestants is going to hurt their chances at $25K. So they're not doing it to lose weight, just the money. Sounds about right.

I like this show - I find it motivating. If those fat-fattys can stand some exercise, my skinny little ass should be able to.

That said, I stopped watching this season. Not a likeable person in the group. Following the whims of a little 22-year-old mean-girl biatch with a VERY SMALL percentage of weight loss for such a big girl.

If I wanna hear a bunch of adolescent-minded biatches, I can just come to work.

No excuses? Seems to me that's all I heard until I stopped watching this season.

One of the biggest problems with these "reality" shows is that after the first season, everyone just mugs to the camera. You need look no further than American Choppers and the Gosselins for recent evidence of that. Even the guys on Deadliest Catch fell victim to it, especially after Phil Harris died.

Why for peoples watch this show?
