Given the number of complaints I've seen on the Virgin Mobile Sucks page on Facebook, this profit has come entirely from delivering astounding new lows in service.

anyway... while I do appreciate what subby did there...

I don't know about Virgin Australia, but in my experience with Virgin America is that they have great service, inexpensive tickets and a decently comfortable and pleasant flight experience.

/And they have Doom at every seat.

...and really obnoxious advertisements that make the viewer envy the blind and deaf.

I would have probably chose the Ironic tag, then everyone would have yelled at me.

Mr Borghetti said 17 per cent of the airline's revenue now came from the corporate and government market, which typically paid higher average fares per passenger, or yields.

Are companies people in Austria?

I flew Virgin Atlantic from DC to London 10 years ago, and it was very nice. They gave everyone a free goodie bag containing earplugs and socks.

My gf has a virgin mobile phone and for $25 a month for a beyond talk plan, she gets unlimited data and txt with 300 minutes of talk time. Since she doesn't talk on the phone much but is always texting and browsing the web it works for her. Last year they raised the price to $35 for this plan but if you had it set for the $25 monthly bill prior to the change, then they kept you locked into that price. I've tethered the phone to my laptop occasionally when we are out and there are no available networks, I like being able to pay $25 for internet and with the ability to get on it as long as I'm in cell phone coverage.

(it costs $50/month to get a broadband2go internet for your laptop even more through Verizons thumbdrive internet plans, not to mention that there isn't even an option for unlimited data if you go the route of Verizon)

My 1st question is why are the government & corporations paying a higher fee than the individuals.

Poor Planning on someone's part.

No. The basic concept doesn't even translate, since we don't have an explicit bill of rights like you guys do. There's no argument over whether corporations have the right to free speech when even individual free speech isn't protected. (That's not to say that we don't have any enshrined rights ... just they're spread out in various laws/documents and all mixed up with government rights and individual responsibilities, there's no simple list that schoolkids memorise.)

I think this is just poorly phrased. Business & governments aren't specifically paying different fees, they're just less likely to purchase discounted tickets and more likely to choose business class over cattle class.

I fly Virgin America or Atlantic every chance I get. By far the best service, most comfortable seats/planes, and best entertainment\food\beverage choices for long flights.

/Beers OTHER than Domestic lights (lites) on Flights from IAD to LAX...YES PLEASE!
