Isn't Campbell one of the most unappreciated QBs out there? Don't get me wrong, I know he's no Rogers/Brady/Brees/etc, but he's portrayed as being much worse than he is. He's a QB that can "manage" a good team. I'd like to see him on the Jets.

He is a solid if unspectacular QB who can run an offense. Those are difficult to find and underappreciated. He isn't really going to light up the scoreboard or do amazing things, but in the right situation, he can win some games and maybe get a team to the playoffs. There aren't a lot of those guys out there so its a shame he hasn't found the right team. Hopefully things work out for him professionally and personally as he seems like a decent guy.

I've seen him play since his rookie year in DC and he always seemed like a decent enough QB. The Raiders should keep him over Palmer without hesitation. Perhaps Oakland wasted too much for Palmer but he isn't good.

IIRC, he had a similar issue with coordinators changing throughout his college career as well, so that he hadn't had the same coach/coordinator for consecutive years since high school. He wasn't the best fit for a West Coast system, but he would have been perfect in the first Joe Gibbs era, like a younger, stronger Doug Williams. I still root for him.
