I'll defend it -here goes:

I don't care if celebrity X is fat or skinny because they have no bearing on my life.

A girl in her 30s is heavier than when she was a teenager and early 20s?! Stop the presses

Christina needs to eat a sammich, looks like a 12 year old boy, I like my women to have their own field of gravity.

Nothing wrong with a few curves. She has put on a few too many, but nothing she couldn't get rid of at any time.

Why do you think Cee-Lo Green got so heavy, is he upset?

/do people actually still listen to Howard Stern anymore?

"Heavier" is an understatement.

He can defend the chubby girls, but I'd rather him not wear spandex while doing it though.

Im just wondering why TFA calls Levine a "rocker" when Maroon 5 does not make rock music. Lemmy is a rocker. Levine is a tea & tampon salesman.

wrong. she used to have the body of a goddamn centerfold model. seriously, she was a vision of female perfection. now she just looks like your average soccer mom.

/still can't stand her white Whitney Houston voice, however.

When was that? I must have missed that period of her life. She was a runway model with breast implants for awhile.

"Got?"

/do people actually still listen to Howard Stern anymore?

We've had about a dozen articles on Fark relating to Stern's show over the last couple months, so I'd say yes. You don't have to like him, but between his entertainment news, Michelle Bachmann recently screaming about him, and his role on America's Got Talent, it's kind of hard to deny that he has a continuing impact.

I've never been familiar with Maroon 5 and only today found out that that annoying "Moves Like Jagger" is one of their songs. It's meant for teenagers, I guess, but it's still awful.

He got another "bump" when David Choe turned down umpteen billion interview requests over the past month but chose to go on his show. I don't listen to Stern myself, but I'm not sure how anyone could consider him irrelevant.

I heard the interview. He wasn't so much defending her as trying to change the subject, as to not start a s***storm on the set of his very popular TV show.

As a side note, I hate reality TV with a passion, but I decided to watch the Voice, and I really really enjoy it. I don't listen to the music made by any of the judges (indie snob), but I like their chemistry during the show, and it really builds the drama with the spinning chairs, and then having the contestants pick a coach.

It was my first thought too. Actually, any time I hear the word "spandex," that's the first place my mind goes.

I didn't say I agree with it, but that is the popular opinion. To journalists, if it's not an African American artist or a pop diva, they're automatically a "rock star".

But in this instance, they weren't incorrect. He's a rocker. He may play adult contemporary (or "soft rock") but it's still rock. Lemmy is obviously "hard rock" and completely different type of artist, but they both are considered rock stars. You wouldn't call him a "pop star", or "country star" would you?

It didn't really seem like he was defending her, more like avoiding saying anything rude about his colleague which I can't blame him considering he could get in trouble with his bosses for publicly slamming her not to mention creating a hostile work environment. He's probably making a lot for being on the show, it's really not worth the risk.

Regarding her, she doesn't look as good as she once did. The problem is that she always had bad taste in fashion, but when she was skinny and younger she could get away with wearing tacky/extreme things. With the weight gain she really can't get away with it anymore.

Her style is starting to remind me of one of those sad bar hags who wear the skimpy outfits that never look right on them hoping someone will go home with them that night. The good thing for her is that she's rich, talented, naturally beautiful, and can turn it around if she wants to make the effort. If she doesn't feel like doing that then she might want to consider a new wardrobe if she doesn't want to be made fun of publicly (not that I think it's right for people to constantly bash her about it).

Well, you have two choices:
1) Turn in your man card at the next available Rush concert in a city near yours.
2) Punch a bear while listening to slayer, this is your man card return quest.

Looks like she went from normal weight or less to a heavy category I or low category II obese, which is pretty extreme and also unhealthy... like, "shaving a couple decades off your life expectancy" unhealthy.

Though, that said, the article said "tight clothes" and then the picture was of her with a loose tee shirt and an open blazer (or whatever you call the high-cut female version of a blazer) and some leggings. That's not really what I'd call overly tight clothing.

//On the other hand, the hat? The had makes me question her mental competence.
