I wonder if flying squirrels can be trained to carry drugs. The Asian species like mountains and they are huge for squirrels (50 cm body, weight a few kg).

"We use the string as a safety measure".

Darwin will get his due sooner or later.

They are nowhere near the load limit for those cables. Provided everything is well anchored and they replace frayed cables they should be safe.

Actually, I think the real safety issue is with their pulleys. I don't think they're speed rated for what they do.

The second a Westerner decides this would be a fun, touristy, thrill-ride, yes.

Huh. Coca is 30% more at market than coffee. What would happen to their economy if the drug war would end? The farmer towards the end of the video was getting $125 a month via barter. I'd imagine prices would collapse. He seems like a good man and father to his daughters too. The lack of a developed and diversified economy will not turn out well.

actually, subby, coca is not cocaine. if you read the article, you'll see the farmers acknowledge this. it's like saying Pseudoephedrine is meth: no, it's a precursor, and the addition of a bunch of chemicals makes it 100s of times more potent.

But I know what you're saying, flying high on cocaine and such

the stock market would collapse if drugs were legalized. coke is cheap and plentiful in south america and they chew on the leaves akin to i imagine how I smoke tobacco: constantly. it's highly diluted in natural form.

Anyway drug money funds the world economy and the bankers spin it into a 'war on (some) drugs' to drive up their profits. Bankers (world bankers, which every bankers one day hopes to be) are more evil than lawyers because they rule the world. It was drug money that kept the market afloat during the housing collapse, now mortgage co's are being found guilty of just mass-foreclosing homes they didn't even need to to rake in resale money. It's all a scam, and the american dollar is worthless but it's its legal, recognized value that makes it valuable. And corpse just raped Uncle Sam's treasury to the tune of $887B recognized congressionally. There was plenty more that went unreported.

And the bankers pass all that debt on to the consumers and you don't own a goddamn thing; "there are two ways to enslave society, one is by the sword, the other is with debt."

/alcohol is legal because it makes you fat and stupid, just how uncle sam wants his citizens

A friend of mine set up a zip line over a gulley in his back yard. We'd have fire pit parties back there and zip around late into the night. Worth noting: the women were more likely to fearlessly clip in than the men.

/alcohol: bravery in a bottle.

Not all coca leaves are used for cocaine trade but I would be interested in knowing percentage. first couple of websites after google search say about 18% of coca leaves used to manufacture cocaine.
