No attention grabbing innocents traumatizing public stunt like throwing yourself of a building or in front of a vehicle.
No messy blood all over the place like with a razor to the wrist or a gun to the head.
No "cry for help" by taking a few pills and then having people work hard to keep you alive.
No potential painful death as you slowly strangle to death in a noose while losing bladder and bowel control.
Not much time to get second thought as you pass the point of no return.
Little chance of injuring others.

You just get sleepy and then loose consciousness.

As suicides go this is fairly dignified. It is not as cool as committing hara-kiri or climbing the tiger enclosure in the zoo or gluing your hands to your the sides of your head and bungee jump with a noose of pianowire around your neck, but it certainly beats most other popular suicides methods and it doesn't even benign to compare some really pitiful things like committing slow suicide with alcohol.
