Actually, Jessica Lynch IS a hero, but not for the reasons the Bush Brigade wanted us to think. She's a hero because she refused to accept the bullshiat tag they tried to label her with. She could have just stayed quiet, done the talk show circuit, gotten a gig as a paid speaker, and done interviews for the next 40 years. Instead, she called it out for the bullshiat it was, and refused to wear the "hero" tag. For actually having some integrity, and going in front of the country to risk ridicule from those who surely tried to accuse her of ginning the story up, she gets the tag from me. nope. transhumanism/transhumanists believe (in brief) that technology can and should be used to adapt the human species and assist in evolution. a philosophy I agree with, at least in general principal anyways. I quibble on some of the details...but that's a discussion for another time.

'bioconservative' (or biocon for short) is a transhumanist term for someone who does not believe in technologies used to enhance human biology, or who would prevent someone from using techology to assist them in controlling their own bodies. In transhumanist terms, pro-life group are 'biocons' because of their hatred of reproductive science and technology.

Its true. To test this theory, I rolled a female breton in Skyrim.

I just tried to complete the main quest but inevitably wound up at every goddamn cooking pit in the game.
Hell, I even had a real female play skyrim (rolled a female altmer) and she hasn't come close to the ending of the main quest. Just not her destiny it seems.
