3-inch-by-5-inch avulsion to the back of his scalp,

I had to look it up and OOOWWWWW!!!!

2012-02-19 10:28:21 PM
To be fair, I'm sure the cat would have done the same for him.

2012-02-19 10:30:27 PM
That's worth risking your life over, because where could you ever get another cat.

2012-02-19 10:30:37 PM
Cats are pretty funny.

The cat might have landed on its feet, at least.

The really scary thing is that the additional stories links below this story show an additional 3 people falling off cliffs in that area.

They should change the name to Lemmingville.

My cat appears to be drunk most of the time.

Typical. The lengths go through to get a little ....cat.

Little.Alex: That's worth risking your life over, because where could you ever get another cat.

Uh huh.

If I see a Farker and a cat both in distress and I only have time to save one, any guesses which I'd choose?

/hint: I hate humans. (Yes, that equates to self-hate, Dr. Crane)

...but what happened to the cat?

Cliff might have had alcohol in him. Just ask about him where everybody knows his name.

2012-02-19 10:41:03 PM
The guy's cat probably just sat there and watched him fall while he licked himself. Mine would have.

But why would you be licking yourself while you fell?

He collected the life insurance policy.

I've got two cats. There isn't squat they can do for me if I'm in trouble, but you should see them defend each other when another cat or dog comes around.

The same could be said about children.

Squeeze 45s and Under is always in rotation at my house.
Looking at your profile, I see you have a Chow Chow. I had a black Chow named Dude for 13 years. They are the best dogs!

This is a primary mission for most cats. I don't know why. If we're dead we can't feed them.

Honestly, I swear the little farkers are a dumb as a bag of hammers. Or about as dumb as we are when they're being cute. It's odd that cat ownership involves so much stupidity, when you stop and think about it.

Highlander was a documentary, filmed in real-time.

the reporter sucks. he should have known SOMEONE would be asking, So what happened to the cat? All it would take is a quick line at the end of the article.

"The man reportedly had lost his footing while trying to get his cat, which had followed him and a friend as they walked along the blufftop"

...what?

Yeah, one of the few types of injury that make me squeamish. The part's often still there, intact. I think third-degree burns are easier on the eyes.

The GIS is not safe for lunch.
