mikaloyd: tKat could you turn the heat up on the idol a skosh please? I get a chill every time I see a wreck without JJ or Kyle

vegaswench: Fantastic. Kyle's reporting damage due to debris hitting.

Thanks tkat.

I wish they would go back to the quarter mile for the top fuel cars.

Jensaarai: Ya know, this actually kinda reminds me of most Daytona races in NASCAR 2011, complete with the "Oops, I was trying to bump draft and accidentally destroyed your day."

Do any of y'all play?

Never have, but have been curious about it and I've had it in my Gamefly queue since it came out. How do you like it?

2012-02-18 09:34:42 PM
Boogity?

2012-02-18 09:34:52 PM
Jensaarai: Damn Bowyer. Good thing Kurt was there.

And... again.

I guess he took his 5 hour energy too early in the day and crashed out.

If there's a voice of reason left in NASCAR, they need to enlarge the spoiler.

I can imagine this is exactly what NASCAR is looking for. Ever since the inception of the COT, drivers who can adjust the car to drive fast and loose have excelled.

They're going back to the days where cars are on the edge of control and it just takes a little bump to get a car out of shape and spinning. After the last season where there were fewer cautions than in the past decade or so, you're gonna see more more non-NASCAR-manufactured-phantom debris cautions and more cars in the wall, spins, and wrecks.

/The less NASCAR resembles F1, the better

It's in the bathrooms behind one of the bleachers. It's best not to talk about it.

I'll be honest. Activision did a shiat job on most parts of the game. It glitches, you lose saved data (not paint schemes luckily) semi-frequently, the career mode is uninspired, and online has constant problems with the lobbies.

That said, the paint shop is adequate. I've made Cale Yarborough's Hardees 28, Swervin' Irvan's Kodak 4, a variant of Richard Petty's 43, Bill Elliott's 9 and 11, and Derricke Cope's 10.

And when you're on track with other guys in multiplayer, it's a farkin' blast. Seriously, I've had the most fun online in a NASCAR game for years.

That's about what I've read in reviews, which is why I wanted to rent it before I bought it. Why is a good NASCAR game so hard to do?

/Hell of a save by Kyle!
