mikaloyd: vegaswench: Whoa, where'd Kurt come from??

A cross between Dumbo and a klingon?

I was going to go with Romulan.

What_Would_Jimi_Do: i didn't say she replaced him, i said she is only there due to his absence.

The guy from the Speed channel is there due to his absence, Danica was going to be there no matter what.

vegaswench: penguin31: OK, so Kurt Busch is racing for some little tertiary also-ran team. I clearly have missed something here - what the hell happened? I mean, I assume there was douchebaggery since a Busch brother was involved, but after a year and a half out of the loop I'm rather confused.

Someone released a video of him throwing a temper tantrum in an interview with Dr. Punch. He'd been throwing them for a while, but no one cared until it was against Punch. As a fan, I don't excuse it and didn't like it, but there it is.

His team was a also more than a little tired of him bad mouthing them anytime he had a bad race. He was never at fault in the least. A lot of the radio clips from his car were along the line of "I'm doing the best with the piece of sh*t you guys gave me."

Now then... since we will have 50 laps to go when the green drops again... with a 44-48-lap gas mileage estimate.... fuel-mileage race??? In the "BUD SHOOTOUT????????

They'll never make a full fuel run without a caution. There'll be a wreck or a "debris" caution, guaranteed.

I wonder if anyone's going to Bobby Gerhart it and pit after a few laps for fuel. It seemed to work out for him pretty well in the FARKA race earlier.

with the reduction in fuel capacity, whenever that was, 50 laps hasn't been a window for like 7-10 years

Honestly, I like humble Kurt. If his attitude and reality check is genuine, this could be a personality on par with us getting happy Mark Martin after years of dour depressed Mark Martin.

Nothing wrong with a Dodge. I just have to roll my eyes every time someone calls it an American car company. By that reasoning Honda and Toyota are American car companies. (Heck, the Camry is the only Cup car actually built here.)

My money is on Juablo getting impatient and giving someone a shove into their left rear quarter-panel to get them out of his way.

It's not genuine. It's a P.R. move. Still love the guy, but I don't believe it for a minute.

I'm in the minority, but I gotta say, I love Mikey. I want him in the booth with his brother.
