6 years in HS?

He's an 18.5 year old junior, meaning he'll be a 20 year old college freshman.

I assume it's a verbal commitment 'cause the dude can't write.

I have seen kids get asked to play on the high school team in some areas but usually they were put on the junior varsity to get acclimated to the new plays.

Also, is the kid really 18? I havent seen any confirmation of that but at 205 he seems kind of light to play RB and other sites put him at 190, I think trent richardson and others were easily in the 220 range, its why I wasnt to excited about isaih crowell at uga this year, he was too light to make his own holes, if they were there he would do pretty good but against the top teams he got stuffed.

I teach at a charter school and I had a 18 year old freshman in my class before he left the school in November. And get this, due the school's absolutely asinine athletic eligibility rules, he was allowed to play sports after getting a .5 GPA for four years. Thank god we are changing it

Things like this happen all the time (in re to the fact that he's 18 as a junior, and has used all of his HS eligibility up). In many cases, these players reclassify sometime during their soph/junior year so they can enter college the next fall. This is allowed because the kids that reclassify are either a. close enough to graduating already, and can take summer/GED classes to get the final class or two, or b. drop out and complete their final year with GED equivalency classes. (I guess those two sound pretty similar. Just depends on how good of a student the kid is)
Also, a good amount of football players enroll in the spring semester before their freshman year. This is so they can join spring camp and get evaluated earlier on.

My Barber College got a 2 year post-season ban for shiat like this.

The yards he ran for in 8th grade don't count towards the record; he broke it in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades, and is still eligible to add to it this year.

Don't worry Gators, getting Kelvin Taylor doesn't mean you have to stop losing to Florida State. :-)

I used to hold the rushing record for my high school but a 23 year old dude named LaVartis broke it.

But has he scored four touchdowns in a single game?

We let these injuns off the hook a couple of years in a row and they start thinking they're hot shiat. Once you can replicate the 6 streak we put on you 2004-2009 then I'll start bowing and scaping. Now that we've got that bad case of Brantley out of our system, we'll see just how long you can cling to this rivalry's hilltop...

I get a big kick out of lizards fans blaming that poor kid for all their failures, even though, despite being mediocre at best, he was still the only occasionally competent player they had out there last year on offense.

Gonna be fun watching FSU's D-line turn whatever new scapegoat you clowns come up with into oatmeal next year.

...And don't forget the FSU win in 2003 was THE MOST BOGUS BS GAME EVER PLAYED. I've seen games where a bad call was made here or there. It usually evens out, sometimes not. That game had like 5 totally blown calls that ALL went to FSU. Stuff like guys fumbling while standing up on two feet and being ruled down. If ever there was a game that smacked of a payoff, that was it.
