I beg to differ with you. I have a green mohawk, and am rather well rounded, and friendly. I have a great job, and work hard there. I was also a nanny for several years, and married to a much more "conventional" looking individual. My only problem is I seem to post on fark a bit too much.

Well for one, I am a female, so I wasn't seeing that scene from a male perspective. Personally, I just think that the best she looked during that entire film was when she donned the blond wig. And believe me, it's not that I'm averse to piercings, tattoos, or body modifications (*I have a nose piercing & 3 tattoos myself, one right smack dab on the pubis mons of my vagina, and I plan on getting more) but her look in that film was dreadful; the haircut was just so stupid and not flattering, I hated her lack of eyebrows, and something about asymmetrical piercings really does just turn me off.

Now, I certainly won't argue that she looks good, regardless...her body is fantastic and she still looks totally farkable. But she's just so much softer and prettier looking in the other photos.




I didn't think she looked good at all in the Nightmare on Elm Street movie either...she looked very plain Jane and frumpy:





But when she does the red carpet glitz and glamour, she looks fantastic:





I'm a bisexual woman though and my personal preference and sexual attraction is toward women who look and act like women; sexy, feminine, curvy, girly girls. Lipstick lesbians, if you will...I like my men manly and my ladies lady-like. Again though, that's certainly not to say that there haven't been those who go against type; I dated a gay (well, mostly anyhow) guy for over 2 years, I was monogamous with a soft butch girl for almost 9 months, etc. etc.

I just really think that women look their best when they go for a "classy" or "glam" look; dresses, nice long hair (whether it's in a red-carpet style updo or sexy and loose down), visible & soft shaved legs, a touch of natural makeup, you know what I'm saying...

As for that scene, I kind of hated it because I already knew what was going to happen...I don't like seeing people get their feelings hurt. Every time I have to watch a movie or show where a girl tries to bed some guy and he turns her down and she immediately either starts to cry or kiss him harder, it's so embarrassing and I have so much empathy for her, even if it is just a character, because everyone's been through it and knows how much it sucks. No, he didn't reject her, but he was committed to someone else, and poor Lisbeth risked life and limb to hook this guy up and her heartbreak was evident by film's end.

Besides...the ugliest, dumbest, and worst acting moron to grace the silver screen recently is much more deserving of my outright hatred:

You have a habit of painting with a wide brush when it comes to people who are not like yourself. What you say is certainly true of some (maybe even most) punky tattooey types, and as I understand it is true of the character in the movie (keep that in mind when getting your panties in a bunch), but someone's external appearance does not define who they are.

I'm sure this is hard for you to understand, seeing how you've made your feelings clear in many threads about anyone with dark skin from an inner city, but it's true: Jumping to hard-and-fast conclusions about people based solely on their outward appearance is something only assholes do.
