Brent Bozell was on Hannity last night whining about this. Farking hilarious.

It's adorable the way the wingnuts are ramping up their attacks on Media Matters right before the release of their new book on Fox News.

You also really gotta admire the wording in there. I like the way he refers to Media Matters as "embattled." Also, the use of "KleinOnline has learned" is cute. Yeah, great work, you looked up Wikipedia and some public financial disclosure forms. You're a regular Woodward and Bernstein.

It's so radical to fund groups that try to help get people registered to vote. Guy is a regular Adolf.

So, the point of TFA is that we're supposed to be mad that "media" which we all used to think was honorable and noble, is actually controlled by a few rich guys who hate each other and use their respective news outlets to pitch hissy fits and make all the rest of us hate the other guy more?

I hate the world. Can we just rain down the bombs, or develop the zombie virus or whatever it is that's supposed to start the Mayan Apocalypse? I don't want to have to wait until December.

My only issue, and I could give a rats ass about media matters, is the weekly meetings with the white house for strategy planning. Not that I care what the talk about, but you can't be a 501.3C organization and delve that heavily into politics. That's just the rule.

Regardless of how it is funded, they do nothing but play cliips in their entireity, with context, and shed light on howe slanted Faux News is.

Somehow, Fox has a big problem with this.

When it is a non-profit and gets indirect or direct taxpayers dollars? Sure. How would you feel about a non-profit whose sole mission was to take down NPR?

I especially like the anti-gun message and taking $400,000 in anti-gun money when the head of Media Matters has an armed bodyguard at all times.

Bottom line is, you would freak if this was done to your side, but make excuses when it is against the right, or the perceived evil Fox News. I can't believe even Farkers think taxpayer money should be used to fund political agendas. If Bush did it, you would be soiling yourselves with Anger. Democrats do it and it is awesome? Come on. Grow up. You guys think people should be forced to join a union, and forced to provide union dues to support Democratic politicians, regardless if you want to or not. That is as un-American as it gets.

I am completely shocked that a left-wing media group would be involved in the exact conspiratorial collusion that they always accuse the right-wing of, for which there is no evidence.

Completely shocked.

There's plenty of word bombs in there....

"Tides is one of the biggest financial backers of progressive and radical left groups in the U.S."

"For example Tides is a primary funder to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now or ACORN, and is closely tied to the group implicated in voter fraud"

"the socialist-leaning Democracy Now!; the Marxist-founded Free Press; the Marxist-oriented Institute for Policy Studies;"

You are stupid in this case. There have been plenty of studies about bias in the media. Fox is very close to center, a hair right. Most outlets are quite a bit out in left field. You are so used to the left wing media telling you how America is evil, capitalism is the Devil, and Bush eats babies that you think the truth is right wing. Well, good. Fox makes mistakes, of course it does. So do other media outlets.

Remember, Obama himself tried to get Fox kicked out of the press covering him. It took other media outlets to tell him no way buddy. We get it, Fox does not campaign for Obama and the Democrats. You hate them. Oh well.

Hey, know why they're "implicated", Fox? Because they were never actually shown to have done it. You just SAID they did.

Their voter REGISTRATION fraud, which didn't result in a single bad vote, was chalked up to lazy employees making up registrations rather than walking around neighborhoods.
