The flu? Hopefully it won't be too difficult to pay for his out-of-pocket medical fees. And I'd think he should still show up to perform his job, because he's a right-to-work employee after all.

2012-02-15 12:54:55 PM
Imagine my surprise

2012-02-15 12:56:00 PM
This is so fng petty. Also, it's stupid.

Now, Obama can walk into this factory filled with people super excited about 1) meeting the President and 2) being mentioned in the SOTU, and he can rip on what Gov. Crosseyes has been doing to the state.

Bad mood, Walker. Obama would have had to show you SOME respect if you had showed.

2012-02-15 01:09:55 PM
Maybe he was busy washing his hair?

2012-02-15 01:11:23 PM
What a weasel.

2012-02-15 01:11:24 PM
Sounds like Walker is more afraid of coming outside and finding 4,832 locks welded to his limo.

2012-02-15 01:13:24 PM
Pussy probably went into hiding in a near by state.

2012-02-15 01:15:55 PM
He had other things to do, like think up new and inventive ways to be an asshole to the people of Wisconsin.

2012-02-15 01:16:18 PM
stomach bug? that was the best way to get out of school because nobody can ever tell if your stomach is upset and nobody wants to go into the bathroom with you to make sure.. Sounds like when Dick Cheney suddenly was in a wheelchair for Obama's inauguration.

Yellow fever?

How terrible is the GOP base that a Republican governor can't tour a factory in their own state with the President of the United States because it would look bad if he went and did publicly yell at the President for something.

2012-02-15 01:21:09 PM
didn't*

2012-02-15 01:23:43 PM
I don't believe a thing this sack of shiat says: he's been out of state raising money for most of the past month. And there's maybe six counties in this entire state where he can show his face without attracting protestors.

Outrageous Muff: How terrible is the GOP base that a Republican governor can't tour a factory in their own state with the President of the United States because it would look bad if he went and did publicly yell at the President for something.

I don't think it's that.

for the first time in 15 years, Master Lock's unionized plant in Milwaukee is running at full capacity.

I think Walker is afraid of getting a master lock upside his head while he is touring the factory floor.

2012-02-15 01:23:59 PM

Walker's office has confirmed that due to a stomach flu, Walker will no longer accompany Obama on a tour of the local Master Lock factory, at which Obama is scheduled to speak in the afternoon.

And to think, I just watched an old Babylon 5 episode with this same plot. President going on tour with political rival and the rival ducks out due to catching the flu.

Mr. Coffee Nerves: Sounds like Walker is more afraid of coming outside and finding 4,832 locks welded to his limo.

Sounds like something Obama is more likely to be afraid of. Most people in unions are forced into them, and would prefer not to be. Walker has done more to improve the rights of the *individual* employee than Obama has.

Walker has really, really screwed up Wisconsin and his war against worker's rights is pathetic. I do not support Scooter at all and believe he is the greatest danger to Wisconsin in many decades. Also, I like public employees and had some good teachers. I support their right to collectively bargain. I also like Obama a whole lot.

Once this guy take's Walker's cock out of his mouth it's easier to understand him, it's like reading a whole different post!

Wait Obama should be afraid of getting busted by a union member but Obama is the one who touring the plant and Walker who shouldn't be afraid is not touring the plant.
So Obama is courageously going into the lions den and Walker is a pussying(spelling) out when he has nothing to fear, thanks for pointing that out.

Fun Fact of the day
There is no such thing as a stomach flu.
Flu is short for influenza a specific type of respiratory virus, people could mean a stomach virus.

Walker spokesman Cullen Werwie confirmed to TPM, however, that Walker still plans on greeting Obama on the tarmac at the Milwaukee airport.

I hope there's a Secret Service agent standing nearby with a bottle of hand sanitizer. That would be hilarious.

My dad was out at dinner with his wife last night, and the President and his wife were seated next to them in the restaurant.

I asked if that meant Obama was his Valentine.

/ He didn't get a kick out of that.

Wouldn't this be the reason to meet Obama? He could give him the same virus which would make Romney President for Life and earn Walker ...dare I say it...A CABINET POST!

That's funny. I've worked for a union shop. The money they stole from my paycheck would have been better used by protections from the mafia. Quit being yet-another-armchair-liberal deciding what's best for me.

If you didn't feel you were getting your money's worth you didn't have to work for them; put that free market to work. Given money != stolen.

Conservatives think the earth is 6000 years old and we should be invading Iran right now, we need to decide what is best for you or you'll ruin it for all of us.

You make it sound so easy, just "change jobs". Sorry, for those of us not living off our parents, simply "changing jobs" isn't always so easy. I believe government intervention is warranted when it comes to protecting the rights of individuals, such as the right to not be forced into a union.

You had every right to quit and go work someplace where you did not benefit from the union contract.

I don't know if thinking the earth is 6000 years old is a conservative thing. Reasonable people, however, tend to find the "official" approximated age of the universe/earth quite absurd.

He's been spending a lot of his time out of state doing fundraisers for his upcoming campaign. What's great is that one of his main talking points at these events is deriding the recall efforts as being "funded by out-of-state interests."

Well, it is February, and it's pretty cold up there in Wisconsin, and health care in this country is a joke at best, so I suppose I could give him the benefit of the doubt.

However, since this is scott walker, the sharon osborne of governors, that we're talking about, I have a feeling "stomach flu" is politically correct speech for "meeting a secrit muslim socialist terrorist makes me sick to my stomach."

Screw this guy.
