There was a pretty good parody of Who's On First, using rock stars, on SCTV many, many years ago.

I like the wrap-up with Coco Crisp. He does, in fact, have a ridiculous name.

In the '70s a comedy group called the Credibility Gap (featuring Harry Shearer, Michael McKean and David L. Lander) did a sketch about a concert promoter trying to book a show with three headliners - the Who, the Guess Who and Yes.

What I like is that this one uses the one position the original left out, right field, but in turn leaves out the the shortstop "I don't give a darn".

Superbly done.

gotta admit, I lost it after this line:

Abbott: Oh, well if it's just today's game you're worried about, it will help you to know that today's scheduled starter is Yu.
Costello: Since when?!? I can't pitch!

well done.

I was prepared to rip it to shreds. But it was very well done.

/was thinking Yu could lead to a whole "who's on first" style bit, but I'm nowhere near smart enough to create one myself.

it started strong... but went on waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long

A bit long, but quite well done. Not bad at all, sir. Golf claps. Golf claps all around.
