I've got a 30-sec. video of my cat barfing. Perhaps the studio would be willing to buy the cat barf - they could use it to replace their executives.

I hate it when they intentionally make movies just for Rifftrax. It's less funny that way.

Honey Badger as a movie? You'll never make in Hollywood with ideas like that. No, it's going to be a TV show.

Eh, you guys will come in here complaining tomorrow about some new original movie that you will deem too out of the mainstream to be any good.

They're not out of ideas. They're just out of GOOD ideas.

Sad thing is that the 1 minute video had more plot than the top 10 grossing movies over the last year....

FFS. You'd think the lessons of failures like "Cave Men" and "Shiat My Dad Says" would have been learned.

I could see this.
There are already talking animal movies - but the live action ones have an animated mouth over the cats and dogs. This guy has the timing down to an art form, making it look like they are actually talking plus nailing a particular emotion instead of just "talking dog".

I think it's more a matter of acquiring this guy's talent for this and future projects.

Blair Witch Project was a great movie if you watched it in a dark room alone on an old TV, that's the way it was supposed to be experienced.

Dumbasses heard it was scary so they flooded the multiplexes to watch it, which is probably the worst possible way to watch that flick.

I don't think anything defines "out of ideas" like making the board game Battleship into an alien-invasion Baysplosion-type film.

Serious Question: how large was the dump truck of money they parked on Liam Neeson's lawn to get him involved in that?

Yeah. I only saw it when my roommate-at-the-time rented it ( or maybe it was on Netflix... or he pirated it, wtf ever ), and that was on his giant-ass 120hz-upscaling LCD HDTV, so probably just as bad. Truth be told, I don't think I even have an old CRT TV lying around anymore.

Serious(and alarming) Answer: It may have been less about the paycheck and more about Neeson's occasional thirst for mindless action ala The A-Team.

Yes it was. It and "The Grey" are notable exceptions. The other two offerings-"Unknown" and "The A-Team"-failed to impress, despite his best efforts.

Somebody the other day... i forget who they were talking about, but its probably true of a lot of folks. Most actors started off pretty poor, waiting tables and such, and would take any part offered just to get a paycheck for doing what they love. And even when youre a big star its hard to get out of that mindset of "i should take this job for the paycheck even if the movie sucks because who knows when the next job is gonna be".

And I can completely understand having such a mindset in a notoriously fickle industry;I just hope that he doesn't accept everything that comes his way ala Nicolas Cage(who's far less talented and cash-strapped) or Sir Ben Kingsley(a bonafide thespian and now, inexplicably, Uwe Boll's biatch).

I'd hate to see Neeson go down that terrible road....

Liam Neeson is the new Michael Caine, or Ben Kingsley. He'll take any job for the right amount of money, and immediately adds gravitas to the whole shebang.
