Even among Republicans, one in five told Pew they didn't know enough about Santorum...

80% of Republicans can identify santorum when they see it. That's reassuring.

I'm concerned that 20% of Republicans can't use Google. We really need more tech education

It's... not enough.
I need more.
Santorum means I'm satisfied.
I said,
I don't want it.
I just need it.
To leak, to drip, to run down my thigh.

Hey Rmoney- this is how bad people dislike you. They're willing to try on santorum again.

So if the election was to happen RIGHT NOW.....

We'd still have Obama as President. Man, that just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. And also about ten times safer.

I'm really wondering where Santorum is getting all this sudden support from. He's alienated 50% of the country with his "women shouldn't have careers" shiat. Where the hell is this coming from?

I vaguely remember reading an article in Time or Newsweek in late spring or early summer 1972 titled: 'Where is Nixon?' because he even left the White House to campaign in any meaningful way..

Why should he? The Dems were self destructing just fine without any help at all from him.

He didn't win by a landslide in 1972 because of deep inside information he had on the Dems, he won by a landslide because as unappealing as Nixon was there was no sane alternative (all due respect to the late, great George McGovern who got jobbed by Bob Novak').

This has really felt ALOT like that from the beginning.

I give him another 2-3 months before the inevitable drug-fueled gay orgy scandal breaks out.

And let's be honest: we know drugs were involved because no sober person would have sex with this loser.

IIRC, Nixon (who had more grace and respect than any Republican currently in the race) felt it was bad form for the president to be out glad-handing and campaigning when there was a war going on.

That has absolutely not been my experience, and I've been attending caucuses for over 30 years.

That's encouraging, but one thing I have learned from Nate Silver is that polls of 'registered voters' are less reliable than ones of 'likely voters'. Take from that what you will.

You just thought they were caucuses. The real ones are held in secret. Wake up.

The crap he's said over the years will make for some great attack ads. The Democrats will lay it thick with the stuff that's come out of his mouth. This guy just oozes sleaze. I don't see how he'll have the money to respond but he'll give it a shot regardless. If he wins the nomination, it will leave a stain on the Republicans that will stay for a while. I guess we'll have to sit on our asses and wait to find out who comes out on top.

2012-02-14 11:32:06 PM
After this election, Republicans will be clamoring to pass the DISCLOSE act, and paint the Democrats as the evil ones to get support.

We've seen this shiat, like, six times already. Santorum isn't going to win the nomination for the same reason that Bachmann didn't, Cain didn't, Gingrich didn't, Perry didn't, Paul didn't, and Gingrich didn't again. The money has chosen Romney, and so it's Romney. Hell, Romney's farking name is just an anagram for "money" with an "R" out front.
