(Fox News)   There are many layers to the OWS onion, and each one is more difficult than the last to peel back. But it's starting to look like there is a single, rotten core at the dark center of this movement, and that core's name is ... ACORN   (foxnews.com) divider line 279

jayhawk88: Look, it's really not that hard. George Soros, at the behest of the Clintons, founds ACORN to further the Liberal Agenda, as dictated by Big Hollywood and the Liberal Media. They utilize the Internet, created by noted Liberal Al Gore, to stomp out the last vestiges of dissent through the use of illegal downloading and fixation on the Gay Agenda. This, of course, is all a smokescreen to conceal the real agenda, which is nothing less than the installation of a total socialist regime in the US Government, made possible by the removal of all gun rights, as well as the power of Affirmative Action and the Unions.

We are literally less than a year away from Barack Hussein Obama from being re-elected President, which due to the Kyoto Treaty will grant Obama dictatorial powers somehow, which he will use to disband all the armed forces in favor of UN Peacekeeping forces, which has secretly been building up their forces thanks to the billions of dollars siphoned from the US and the EU during the recent banking crises. Obama will use these forces to remove us from the Gold Standard, which as it turns out is not an economic policy but in reality seizing all gold currently in the hands of private investors, and creating a giant, golden bull donkey in the middle of Missouri, underneath the Gateway Arch, which, thanks to the secret cache of Diamonds held in the Clinton Stronghold in Northern Arkansas and the LHC, will trigger a global EMP that will knock out all electronics, allowing NASA to activate their weather controlling satellite system without interference, flooding 90% of the globe, leaving the Liberal Strongholds in Colorado as one of the few functioning communities and sources of dry land.

Meat consumption in the US has gone down 12% in the last 5 years. Just so you know.

A) you might want to provide a source for that and B) I'm guessing it had nothing to do with the PETA ad (it ran in 2003, would be weird for it not to take affect for 4 years then hit with a vengeance that happens to coincide with the economic collapse).

mcjam: Excellent disinformation tactic, patriot... the PETA straw man, good work!

Just pointing out that "stirring up a debate" isn't really the same as actual change.

If you can point out how the OWS has actually accomplished anything . . . .

After only two months, it completely shifted the MSM conversation away from the austerity and deficit bullsh and towards the widening, two-tiered, stratified economic disparities in the country ain't no small accomplishment... and that was just the opening act.

SkinnyHead: "Thousands of us are arriving in Sacramento on March 5 to Occupy the Capitol with our demand that the 1 percent pay for jobs, education, essential services, and a better future,"

A group claiming to represent the great majority (in Russia, they called them Bolsheviks) threatening to illegally occupy the state capitol building to demand that others be forced to pay for their "jobs, education, essential services, and a better future" sure sounds like communism, doesn't it?

Or it could be that sane people have realized that any civilized society needs at least minimal investment in infrastructure, education, and a reasonably stable society, and that those who benefit most should pay most, rather than making low-wage earners foot the bill for necessary programs that benefit us all.

Tea Party folk saw their lives go down the shiatter slowly over the past 30 years and they want someone to blame, and some keen opportunists in power told them what they want to hear, that's all.

You've summed it up nicely other than pointing out that the opportunists were the very same people who sold them down the river in the first place. Only such a well funded and organized "grass roots" movement could have pulled that off though having a readily available propaganda network didn't hurt either.

I felt sorry for those poor old people being fooled again. They meant well but didn't even notice they were being used.

You gotta admit, you would have fun with the lady on the right.

Nahh, she's a conservative. You know she just lays there like a dead fish.

Oh boy, you need to talk to some divorced liberal guys who had liberal biatch wives and rethink your position. For real. "Easy lay" and "recreation drug user" in college doesn't translate into a happy life with an "open minded" liberal women. Cucking Funts, by the second or third year. And they become conservative on any issue you want them to be liberal on - except for being able to buy your kids a BB gun, you still can't do that. Towards middle age, the frequency at which they talk about sexual freedom and their vaginas is inversely proportional to frequency of use they allow it to see. But you can't legally kill them for it. I know, it's way farked up.

/is what I've observed with others. I'm not talking about women who lean Democrat, or liberated types, I'm talking about "liberal and proud" types. Good luck, or just avoid them if you value happiness or tire of constantly being shown you are at best adequate.

//happy with my own life's little array of women from normal, to satanist, to Buddhist

Funny, it's pretty obvious to me that your problem stems from:

1. being unable to see a woman as a human being, and
2. You probably suck in the sack, and a liberal woman who sees herself as a huiman being won't be content to suffer your worthlessness. You need a woman who has been demeaned her whole life and gotten used to it.

Oh well. Sucks to be you! (alomst as bad as it sucks to be a woman stuck with you, I'm sure.

Could/does work both ways?

Yes, it does work both ways. The older generations and the younger ones have all been screwed over by exactly the same people; the ones who own banks and Wall Street investment firms, among others.

For more than 30 years, we've been living on borrowed money, and the "trickle down" economics plan, which is completely unsustainable, has finally got to the point where it can no longer be ignored. The few have damned near everything, and the rest of us have been screwed.

The Tea Party and OWS are both populist responses to the systematic fleecing of the American middle class. They actually have more in common than different, if only they would listen to each other long enough to realize it.

It's not a scandal if it's found to be baseless after an investigation.

Ah, the ever-ambiguous "critics say." You know your news organization is a joke when you have lower standards than Wikipedia.

There was once a Daily Show segment that showed how Fox's editorial people usually provided the "critics are saying" sources for the news department.
