How could anyone not fall in love with those eyes? (he said like he would have an ice cube's chance in hell of even talking to her, even if she was hetero.)

What all the anti-gay folks should focus on about DeGeneres is how much good she does for people. I don't have figures but it seems like she gives away more and helps people more than most celebrities. Or is that just a good PR person? I'm not sure about those groups that oppose her, but my faith informs me that I am supposed to support those who help others - as in actually help others, not get the government to help them.

I don't get why the "One Million Moms" group was upset about JCP hiring Ellen as a spokesperson. I mean, she's like the least "offensive" lesbian celebrity around. She doesn't go around actively trying to agitate people or go all super-soapbox with her causes. If JCP had hired Rosie O'Donnell, I'd understand the reaction, but oh well.

I think you're forgetting that once in a blue moon Billo takes on a position that someone who is not a complete piece of garbage would take (not saying I like him or anything, just saying once in a while he takes a stand for something not evil). I recall there were a handful of times he blasted Bush for how he was conducting the Iraq War (and not necessarily for hawkish reasons as I recall).
