couldn't agree with this more. Everything I have read is that skrillex is actually just a puppet and everybody behind him does the work. Supposedly Deamau5 and his buddies fronted the beats and time for skrillex's work because a record label needed to get his imagine going so they could market it. I know if you go back and listen to the early Skrillex stuff on youtube it is comical just how bad it is.

I did not know what a Skrillex was so I asked Wikipedia.

They hire "ghost writers" to do the leg work for them while they spend their time running media empires and marketing and promoting. In much the same way Jim Davis doesn't draw Garfield anymore, he has a staff to do it (why else do you think you've heard of them, after all? ...music isn't about competence or value or worth, its about advertising).
