Maybe Elton can rework Candle in the Wind again..

"All the internets had to say was that Whitney was found in the nude"

If Whitney Houston put her death on Fml I would vote "you did it" (to yourself) no sympathy from me. Crack is cheap yo, crack is wack

Jennifer has mud flaps that Whitney coveted

Last night I was at a work party when Whitney Houston's death was announced. I said "Yes, I've got an early lead in this year's death pool." Then I had to explain the death pool and why I was picking ten celebrities who I figured were going to die this year.

Jennifer Hudson, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguillera, Bobby Brown etc singing White Lines in Whitney's honor would be freaking awesome to watch.

That's only for dead blondes.

The folks organizing the Grammy's couldn't have asked for a better and guaranteed ratings booster.

Am I the first one to say "who gives a shiat?" I am, aren't I, really? Wow.

I still think Neil Young singing "The Needle and the Damage Done" alone on a darkened stage with only a spotlight is the way to go.

But, we are going to have to hear Jennifer Hudson sing "I Want to Dance with Somebody" on a pastel stage.

Blech!

Well, Crack is whack, and Whitney was high class, so there's always a chance.

Hasn't he done that before? I gotta think he's getting sick of singing for OD'd pop stars by now.

This just pisses me off. Etta James was 10 times the singer than Whitney, had a much longer and distinguished career, and actually succeeded in beating her demons to live a long productive life. Now she's just going to be a footnote at celebration of the life of a washed up pop star who hasn't been relevant in 20 years.

Well, the current theory (courtesy TMZ) is that Whitney fell asleep in the bathtub and drowned. So... it could happen.

Amen-Etta was awesome. And she'll be completely overshadowed by all the hand wringing tonight over someone who died because of the poor choices they made in life. What a complete waste of talent.

She was an incredibly beautiful and talented woman. These gifts a basement dweller like yourself can never understand or appreciate all that goes with it.
Go f*ck yourself, again.

Or Lou Reed singing 'Heroin'.

Welcome to Fark.

She had a great voice. Wrote bad songs. Despite "having it all", led a chemical-filled, victimized and pathetic life. Sad, more than anything.

I'm sick to death of a world of people mourning and glorifying someone whom they would have been vocally shaming but a week before.

You know what? I'm going to go ahead and say what quite a few of us are thinking.

fark whitney houston. She had every goddtam thing in the world except the good farking sense to survive. I could give a shiat less about her or her "tragedy". Gee whitney. I'm sorry you couldn't have the wherewithall to get some goddam help and not die in the farking bathtub on pills.

Let's see these vapid farks give a tribute to somebody who actually died in a tragic way. Not by slow suicide.

Indeed - they're acting like she was some kind of national hero, instead of a self-created crackhead!

I love Etta James, and get the angle being stated here. However Eta made plenty of horrible choices too and is just lucky she got past it. Whitney got caught in it and payed, maybe. Although i hear it may have been the bad choice of drinking and taking medicine.

Both women died...its sad. Yes Etta should get her due as well. "At Last" will always be a timeless song for me.

I like Jennifer Hudson....wish her luck
