Best solo artist?

My money is on Pink Floyd. He's pretty good.
He never did get his due for 'Light my Fire.'

no, you thinking of King Crimson. Too bad he only reigned for 6 years.

I loved his hit song "Inna Gadda Da Vida".

Isn't that the one Mr. Crimson wrote while in an appliance store, overhearing blue collar workers talking about stars on some music-related tv station?

When is Jennifer Hudson going to sing?

I want to see the gorgeous Jenny Craig body

Hell, Stephen Hawking moves more than she does.

I was putting myself out there knowing there was a decent chance someone might say that.

bionicjoe: Until tonight I had no idea what Adele looked like.
Would've guessed she was black.

Explains some of the popularity.
Parent: "Turn that jigaboo hollerin' off!!!"
Kid: "Mom/Dad she's white!"
Parent: "What? Well....okay then."

I've heard this argument many times.

And sadly I was the kid in those arguments a few times.

Oh, OK, thanks.

She said something about drunk in a bar is what she heard.

I'll have to youtube it I guess.

I'm pretty sure she did have it all, and usually all at the same time. That's why she's not breathing anymore.

mjg: Adele: 'Rolling in the Flower' seem more appropriate

Aside from that joke already being made, when it was first done it was spelled properly.

He was profiled on CBS Sunday Morning. He's touring as a goodbye to his fans (no mention if it's a monetary cushion). Half of his family is in his band, and he's using a teleprompter.

They said that talking to him about Alzheimer's is hard, because he doesn't remember he has it.

What does she mean?

She was the one interrupted when he did his whole "I'm-a gonna let you finish" AW move.

Yeah, I remember that, but what did she sing that dissed Kanye?

"I'll be singing this song at the Grammys and you'll just be mean."

===============

The "you're mean" song is meant for music critics that don't like her singing or the way she gets back at old boy friends in her songs

Generation_D: my wife saw Adele in a 3000 seat theater last June. They moved it from the original 500 person bar because of demand.

Guessing next time it might be a bigger venue.

Oh, come on. She;s not THAT fat.

22 I think. (11 years)
It's my guilty pleasure reality show, but everything they're saying has never been done has been done.
Tribes lived on the same beach for 1 or 2 votes in about season seven.

Well, Glen Campbell in his prime was one of the best. Band Perry may have some songwriting behind them, but they're not the best players.
