But it is one of his worst characters.

I don't get the point of his blackface. What would be different if he was just a white guy asking those questions?

Black American history should be incorporated in American history all year round. That 's what you're trying to say? Right.

doglover: How is blackface different from, let's say putting on a rainbow triangle and mincing about stage saying things with a lisp? Or sticking fake tits down your shirt, affecting a pepper pot voice, and whining about your period clots? It's just ANOTHER kind of costume.

Same way "antisemitism" is different than religious persecution. A group of people made enough noise about their desire to be treated equally that they get special treatment now.
