Jets vs Penguins has been pretty entertaining.

Speaking of entertaining, did anybody catch the Wings vs Ducks last night? They were playing 3 on 3 in OT because of penalties.

It's on my TV, but it's usually either muted or just really low volume while I hang out on fark or do my own pre-game prep.

For the Superbowl, I first tuned in at 6pm. For other games, it's about 3 minutes before the game starts.

Darnit, hit post too quick. Was going to add that I tried the CBC site, but either something's wrong on my end or there's some sort of block on their end (non-canadian ip filter?) because it won't let me see any of their streams.

I'm a Leafs fan in Florida; believe me, I've tried the CBC feed and it doesn't work here for the "IP filter" reason.

So it's really more like every single weekend of football season (college Saturday, NFL Sunday). Except with hockey instead of football.

With that many games and so little pre-game coverage, this can't be anywhere near as important as the Super Bowl. I mean if this is like the Super Bowl... then what is the Stanley Cup like? Or Olympic hockey finals? This headline is troubling.

Just thought I would point out that the Grey Cup is 'like' the Super Bowl in Canada. Hockey day is nice but it's nowhere near the level of the Grey Cup. Ratings don't lie.
