For some reason, just today I was thinking about the summer of '82, most of which I spent in Long Beach. Being from a small, very northern California town, I can still remember my first trip to Seal Beach on a summer day. I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head. Just one perfect looking girl after another, wearing very little, and often wet. At sixteen, I was nearing a deadly testosterone overdose.

And there were the times I hit the beach strand just north of San Pedro, and rode it all of the way to Santa Monica (then back) on my bicycle. Endless eye candy.

They are all old now. At least they are all still young and perfect in my mind.

Stage: The tiny little town I grew up in. When I was a 5th grader the new 6th grade teacher was fresh out of college (and not from around there) and was just amazingly hot. Just like the video. She didn't even do anything extra to look that way. She was only there one year. She was such a uniform distraction to all the students, faculty, and the community that I don't think they knew how to handle it and she left or was asked to leave. Literally when she walked down the sidewalk conversation stopped and all the kids outside just stared only to glance over and see the other teachers staring.

Good times.
