I was kind of expecting a photo with Patrick Stewart and Robert Picardo.

Unlike peanut butter and chocolate, these two great tastes do not taste great together.

They both rely heavily on reset buttons to get out of danger. It makes sense!

RodneyToady: I was kind of expecting a photo with Patrick Stewart and Robert Picardo.

I was fully expecting it to be a year or so old article about Stewart and Tennant being in "Hamlet" together, submitted by someone just finding out about them playing Claudius and Hamlet respectively.

They already did a comic back in the 80's. It was Tom Baker's Dr. Who and Kirk's Enterprise. Whe the Doctor beamed on board, Spock commented that it would be easier to take his coat rather than search it, because it was so full of crap.

2012-02-10 04:23:47 PM
No, no I think the world is fine without this. Having one flamboyantly irritating immortal on that show was enough.

idiocy.

if they need money so badly that they have to do stupid crossovers - then id advise creating new characters and stories instead

2012-02-10 04:30:57 PM
I have to say, as a fan of both shows ... this looks farking awful.

2012-02-10 04:39:04 PM
Yeah...this is going to be great. Just like those Trek/X-Men abortions Marvel crapped out in the late 90's/early 00's.

A time-traveling wizard with a magic wand does not mix with technobabble sci-fi!

Bad idea.

Once upon a time I read a page or two of The Doctor and the Enterprise. It was a ST:TOS crossover with the serial numbers filed off to avoid being too attractive to IP lawyers. This must be the book: http://www.amazon.com/Doctor-Enterprise-Jean-Airey/dp/1556982186

Only if Gwen Cooper administers it.

Not surprising this is IDW doing this. Licensed properties and crossovers are their bread and butter.

Forget Picard. I just want the Doctor to meet Q. They don't have to fight. I just want banter. That's it.

Look at it this way: At worst, we get Data in a fez. But if this is actually good and people demand more, we might get Dr. Beverly Crusher, Traveling Companion of The Doctor. I say it's worth the risk.

Opposites attract, but similars destroy. The only questions would be who'd draw first blood, and who'd remain standing.

CSB 1: I just saw Gates McFadden at a friend's play reading 3 hours ago.

CSB 2: Bob Picardo was a member of my college acappella group back in the 70s. He had a giant afro.

True that. It's a Royal Shakespeare Company production, and it's spectacular.

I don't think it was porn as much as quite a few nude scenes in films before TNG, most notably The Wicked Lady, and Death Wish 3.
