Just the word bomb is enough to scare us into a tizzy? No verb required? No need to hand it to someone or even place it on a suspicious looking package?

A guy I used to work with would say he's going on a bombing run over Berlin or Tokyo whenever he had to drop a deuce.

Sounds -- from the vague article -- like the guy has some sort of mental retardation. (I don't know what the PC term is for a legitimate condition)

This reminds me of when I was getting my undergrad at Ohio University and campus was shut-down (and tactical units sent from Columbus) because a bike was chained up with a sticker that said "This Bike is a Pipe Bomb," which was the name of a band that had recently played in town. They tried to charge that kid with all kinds of stuff but none of it would stick as I recall.

"He was in the restroom doodling on some toilet paper and I am going to just let modesty go and tell you we are from the country, and so he calls passing gas, bombs," said Hadley's Aunt. "So, he was doodling on the toilet paper and put I passed a bomb in the library, talking about passing gas and somebody come in and found it, give it to the teacher that recognized his hand writing and it blow all out of proportion."

Yes. If I found a scrap of toilet paper that said "I passed a bomb" I'm pretty sure I'd have to assume someone was going to destroy the world.

Agreed. Until they come up with a timer that includes a "potato" setting, building incendiary devices is not in this guy's future.

I carefully pull the paper of the roll and wipe my ass then roll it back on. It makes it harder for the next person to write on.

Oh, great! Now when you want to fly, you'll be restricted to three sheets of TP.
I wonder how many fluids, by the way, can take down an aircraft in quantities
under
3 ounces if you know what to do with them.
Does it really make any sense whatsoever to ban a 12 ounce can of soda but allow a three ounce tube full of Semtex explosive?

Hadley's family says he was an all "A" student who was scheduled to graduate in May. Meanwhile, he remains in the Jones County jail
He doesn't sound dumb, just uncouth. Unless the A's are all in special ed courses. Need more info.

I write all my threats on rice paper. In case I have to eat the evidence.
I was going to say something about how hard it is to write on soft toilet tissue but this is a community bathroom of sorts which means the toilet paper
is
just like writing paper.

I can see them now seeing that it is a roll of toilet paper that says, "BOMB" so it must be, but is it? ...is it?
I wonder just what all equipment was brought in or did they just use the janitors usual poking stick.

Judge Billie Graham set a $20,000 bond for Harold Wayne Hadley Jr., 19. Hadley was arrested at his home in Seminary on Tuesday after the note was found in a bathroom at the industrial services building on the JCJC campus. In all, 11 agencies responded to the threat, but no bomb was found.
A town of 3,500 has 11 law enforcement agencies or one agency for every 300 citizens.
And a judge named Billie Graham.
Some high schools are larger than the whole town, so I guess it would be fairly easy someone born there to remain unknown for two decades.
Sounds like someone made some enemies -- after all the guy is a straight A student.
