My favorite Youk story...

Back in his first or second full major league season he drew a number of walks and he earned the name "The Greek God of Walks" (he's not Greek, he's Jewish). Terry Francona commented on the name later saying "I've seen Youkilis in the shower, and I wouldn't call him the Greek god of anything."

So Tom Brady's sister doesn't have that going for her, which is nice.

Joba knows better than to take this personally. Youkilis freaks out at umps when he doesn't like a called strike. He freaks out at his teammates when they don't step in line with him. I think he strangled a monkey once when the monkey littered. He can hit .500 next year and I still won't like his dour face bringing down the Red Sox clubhouse.

Thanksgiving dinner at the Brady household will bring to mind the image of John McEnroe starting a fight on the set of Teletubbies..

CSB time....

My dad drives limos around the casinos in CT and was sent on a run up to Boston to pick up a VIP and bring them to Foxwoods. Turns out it was Youk. He talked baseball for the entire 2 our ride with my Yankees fan of a father, was exceptionally cool, and apparently a big tipper.

Yeah, amazing how Tom Brady Sr. is this heavy-duty Catholic but is a perfect three for three in getting illegitimate grandchildren out of his kids (there's another sister, she married her baby daddy five years after the kid was born).

The Sox have odd tastes in women. Kevin Youkilis likes single mothers--the sort-of-wife had a kid too--Josh Beckett's married to a legit rocket scientist, Jason Varitek just married Nick Swisher's ex, Jarrod Saltalamacchia's wife is 15 years older than him and started banging him in high school, and those are just the ones I know of off the top of my head.
