Maybe subby is just stupid, so let me explain this to you: Old-school != Old.

Until my grandma passed on recently, she had a fondness for the "Mirio" games. I never quite understood how Mario would be pronounced similar to "Mirror" though.

Anyone remember that letter from the letters section of an old issue of Nintendo Power (1980s) where this guy says he's a senior citizen and played Nintendo with his other senior citizen friends?

Maybe she wanted to play a game where you could be Miriya from Robotech Macross?

It's funny to imagine her excitedly clutching her Social Security check and walker-ing down to Electronics Boutique as fast as possible to pick up Mario 3.

Perhaps she can hang out with Mark Discordia, as this sounds like the thing Nintendo Power used to love to cover every month

When I visit my grandma in the nursing home, they have movies and bingo and whatnot.
My generation will have computers and video game consoles.

My Papaw bought a Super Nintendo and a bunch of games before I owned anything like a video game. His favorite was Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past. Never found the piece of heart in the digging game. Searched for YEARS for it.

/Never liked us playing Super Mario Kart on it, for some reason.
