You're dividing expectation by reality and then assigning the result back to expectation? I don't get it.

Is it me, or is Tech-E-Blog starting to forget that the word 'tech' is in their name?

Y'know what's worse than slideshows? Slideshows that don't farking WORK.

That was really bad, and the mods should feel bad for greenlighting it.

whoever set up formatting for that website should be shipped off to china to work as slave labor assembling meaningless objects for foxconn

And Cracked had TWO! articles today that were shameless plugs for books written by Cracked contributors.

Pretty sure subby is a Haskell programmer. You could try scaring him/her and/or making him/her hurt you by talking about how great unsafePerformIO is for absolutely everything.

I see my job is done here. God help us if Expectation has an overloaded operator though.

My expectation upon clicking the link was not the reality of seeing that craptacular page.

This, for fark's sake... And even clicking "temporarily allow all" still doesn't get the stupid slideshow to work.

I was pondering a use strict joke somehow. Thankfully, I've been beaten to it (I originally read //= though, which I guess is true if you have no expectations defined).

Yeah, which of the TWO DOZEN offboard scripts makes it work? I'm guessing it's none of the ad servers, but you never know.
