So now we have a robot who eats food for power and poops. Couple that with the robot who thinks human flesh taste like bacon. Now the Navy has a fully autonomous drone they are working on.

Does no one see where this is heading?

This was already done in 1739 by one Jacques de Vaucanson, who made a mechanical duck that would eat and then poop.

/can't believe it took this long.

I thought this was a repeat, but it turns out to be a different pooping machine from the one I remembered, which I believe was actually a very elaborate art project: a machine designed to process food matter in the same way as the human body. (Though I don't know if it included gut flora or not.) Kids apparently loved to watch it poop.

What I'd really like to see, along the same lines, is a machine that mimics the effects of smoking on the lungs, but does it at a vastly accelerated rate.
