WTH? They're blindly running at a high speed and hit someone hard enough to require a hip replacement? Don't they have special tracks or guides for the blind?

The dogs couldn't keep up?

If I couldn't enjoy the beauty of nature when I jogged around, I would probably use a treadmill. I mean, I like hiking (not jogging) on local trails, but that's because I can see birds and trees. If I were blind, I'd have to worry about the multitude of dogs that people don't bother to keep on leashes, or falling down the mountainside into a ravine (the trails I walk on aren't the flat, wimpy kind).

Dunkerley also questioned a detail contained in the lawsuit, specifically the claim that Lepage hasn't been able to run since the January 2010 jogging crash.

"We Googled her name to see who she was and it showed that she ran a race in April 2010, so if she was hurt so bad that she said she's been unable to run, why is her name listed for running a 10-k months later?" Dunkerley asked.

Oops.

She'll just attribute this to "amnesia," undoubtedly caused by the crash.
