I wanted an encore. So I replayed the video. :)

That was the shiattiest thing I've ever seen. The scale of the Falcon to the Imperial Star Destroyer is ridiculously inaccurate.

For some reason, I'm absolutely tickled by the Millennium Falcon being right next to a stuffed fox. Eclectic tastes.

Was gonna say the same thing, but this is pretty cool, I don't mind seeing it again.

Also, I've seen so many banjo players wearing that same cap, I'm starting to wonder if you get one free hat like that with every banjo purchase.

2012-02-10 08:39:56 AM
You guys made me watch it twice. The first time I came for the surprise. The second time I came for the music, the cap, the millenium falcon and the fox!

Why don't you just say what exactly made you come a second time. Three underage boys in a bedroom. AO

The A# in bar 79 wasn't quite twangy enough - that ruined it for me. Not to mention, they should have been wearing hats.

I can play G, D, C, and sometimes Bm, on a guitar, so I am not impressed.

Saw this yesterday...prompted me to spend $5 or so on iTunes. The rest of their stuff ain't bad either.

Thank God they don't have a sister who would have started singing at a nasal high pitch whine to ruin it. I like bluegrass until they start singing. "Whiiiiiinnnee ohhhh whiiiiiiiiiine"

FARK YEAH!! Love me some [vocal-less] Bluegrass. That was pretty awesome.

Good find subby.

I missed it the first time around

Damn that's impressive. I have a little disbelief though because the audio sounds like it's coming from mic'ed and mixed instruments, not a handheld camera. Doesn't mean they can't play, just that the video appears misleading to me.

I like that the brother playing six-string still got in his chance to shred at the end. What a great performance! Best repeat link in a while... sometimes you want to see good stuff again!

They may have had a good microphone in the room to get a better audio track than the camcorder would provide; I've done that. Not cheating.

What a sight. Bluegrass family, rustic furniture, taxidermy fox, Millenium Falcon....wut?

If you youtube them, you'll see pretty quick they are 100% legit.

Not that these kids aren't good, but bluegrass is incredibly robust music I've noticed. It's like the pizza of music: Even if it's bad it's kinda OK.

Wheras if you suck even a little at playing classical, it's pretty obvious even to someone who doesn't like classical.

Very cool, good for them. I wish I wasn't so cynical, but that's the Internet for ya.

Shouldn't there be some sort of backwoods car chase accompanying this music?

I must respectfully disagree--it takes precision to be good in bluegrass. And I have heard mediocre/bad bluegrass before.
