It's true that it can be complex
To balance out Google's effects.
But Ricky has earned
His need to be burned
By "$#!+-froth from lubed gay'nal sex."

wait, you're telling me that if you google someone's name, google will return links to recent news items about that person, including high-profile gaffes? why that's exactly the same as rick santorum's google problem!

I can sympathize. Since years before Google even existed, search results for my last name invariably turn up pet chew toys.

Not even remotely the same thing if a negative story or two, actually referring to the candidate, happens to reach the first page of hits. Not even remotely the same thing as Santorum (new window).

I would love to see Dan Savage go into politics. I'm calling it here, within 5 years he'll hold some form of power.

although, none of them have denials of their raping and killing young girls in 1990 show up in their search results either. that seems like the kind of thing they would deny voraciously enough for it to show up in the first page of results...

Good ol' Rick "Frothy" Santorum.

"I'm not concerned about the very poor," Mitt Romney said.

"Don't try and stop the foreclosure process. Let it run its course and hit the bottom," Mitt Romney said last October in Las Vegas.

2012-02-09 04:33:49 PM
Santorum should embrace his notoriety. It's the only way.

When the presidential bid thing doesn't work out, he should move to the Valley and host a series of anal sex porn videos. He'd make a fortune.

2012-02-09 04:36:30 PM
I see the 'Romney defined' (new window) page is officially on the first page of Google results when you search Romney, albeit at the very bottom. Still, it's there, and we need to help it pick up steam. Because one day I want to be able to say a sentence like, "Mitt Romney romneyed santorum on Rick Santorum, when Newt Gingrich caught them having gay sex," and have it be perfectly cromulent language.

Also, you're welcome, for putting that image in your head.

2012-02-09 04:37:53 PM
Santorum might actually be a relatively honest person*. If you cut Gingrich open only caustic fluids would come out. That is why Calista has morphed into her current form.

*If you can handle irrational hate of homosexuals based upon alleged use of the Christian faith.

/Personally I think the man is a closet freak that was taught to hate himself.

One day, his kids are going to be all grown up and might learn how to use a computer. I feel bad for them.

Not even remotely for him, though. His Bible says something about sowing the wind, I believe, and Santorum's seeds are made of hate.

As for Ron Paul, it appears that he had his Google search results under control Wednesday. Everything was either biographical or totally promotional. Somebody on his team knows how to work SEO (search engine optimization)!

A cult that spends that much time and effort to constantly monitor and sanitize their candidate's name HAS to have some seriously heinous skeletons hidden in it's closet.

Possibly even ACTUAL AND REAL skeletons in an actual closet!

2012-02-09 04:40:08 PM
Hmmm... I just gave a +1 on Google to Mitt's 'I'm Not Concerned About The Very Poor' link. I wonder what would happen if lots of people, like Farkers, did it too?

Nah, just a bunch of racist Bircher crap from the 90s, when libertarians realized they had natural allies among white supremacists, militias, and paranoids.

I googled Romney and found out that he was a flip flopping Richie Rich who is totally disconnected from real Americans. He should sue Google!

If there are, those are the skeletons of Jews and black people. I've read some of his bigoted ranting in the past and he's, well, he's the midget version of David Duke. That's the best way I can think of to describe it.

He's a major twatwaffle and a reprehensible "human being" for other reasons as well, but I think the rampant bigotry is enough to guarantee he'll never see higher office.

There's speculation that he experimented in college, with, believe it or not, Dan Savage. They were roommates and Santorum paid him 6 figures to never say anything about their time living together. This is according to Dan, though, so it could all be bull.

I saw the disgusting entry for "santorum" a couple weeks ago, but it didn't appear on Google searches, only on Yahoo. The attack will only help Santorum, because the attack is so vile and over-the-top that it makes the perpetrators seem disgusting -- as though the definition they provide for "santorum" must actually describe *them*, not him. In their perverse vileness, they justify Santorum's moral concerns for the country. Honest-minded people cringe to see someone slandered so heinously, and will think the better of the one who is slandered. The reason an "Obama" search comes up "clean" is because this kind of perverse attack is a tactic of people who want to promote perversion (ie, the most *extreme* left), not people who want to promote a morally strong American culture.

I don't think it's hard to fact check if Santorum and Savage lived in the same town around the same time period, were around the same age etc etc.. or even go to the same college. If those are true than Dan's story is obviously more probable.

Rick Santorum is now addressing the whole Google thing in interviews and is taking the whole "look at how vile and disgusting my critics are". That and the inevitable backlash against Prop 8 being struck down will galvanize the base and likely help him win the primaries and pave the way for him becoming our next president.
