Would lay odds that over 75% went to lawyers fees.

This reminds me of a story (probably an urban legend) about a plant that closed, but some administrative depts remained opened while they were winding down the operations and paying the remaining bills. After a year, the cafeteria, HR and Accounting depts. were still running because they had reached an equilibrium point where each was generating enough work to keep the others open.

Since he has millions, why can't he just pay the fine and make the damned thing go away?

When I went to see his campaign appearance in March 2007 at Berkeley, hundreds showed up. He let some lady talk on and on about how much he loves ladies and women's rights.

A month later, I went to see Obama when he came to Oakland and 15,000 people showed up. On short notice. In April 2007, 19 months before the election.

I never saw Hillary in 2007-2008, because she only appeared at fatcat fundraisers. Hillary later found out that money cannot buy love. She was too busy seeking money, but Obama was out seeking voters. Good luck with your millions, Rmoney.

Hey dooshnozzle, the rest of us democrats hate this guy. In fact I hope his day to day is one misery after another for what he did to his wife.

He's an established, loyal career Democrat, so his nightly price should be about two cartons of Newports or Newport Lights.

That would be a great story, but it's hard to see how it works in practice. Okay, in theory the HR and Accounting people could eat at the cafeteria, thus creating demand for cafeteria jobs, thus giving HR and Accounting enough to do. But then everybody takes home wages and HR and Accounting puts less back into the system than they took out. The system wouldn't have equilibrium without some other source of income. I guess in theory the cafeteria could be so good that lots and lots of other people came into eat, but that hardly seems likely. That being said, I WANT to believe.

Why can't you all just leave John Edward's hair alone?!?!

2012-02-09 03:21:45 PM
Wait. Isn't this a violation of Edward's free pass from the press?

Edwards is innocent . This is just more of the usual Faux News inspired right wing noise machine being cranked to 11 again.
