I'll bet Vanna White could give you a back injury.

2003-10-21 02:38:58 PM
Is that what they call it these day? A "back hug?"

2003-10-21 02:39:13 PM
Can I sue Pat Sajak for being Pat Sajak?

2003-10-21 02:49:22 PM
Sajak should give this guy a "F" and a you "U"

2003-10-21 02:52:46 PM
Sajak should give this guy a "F" and a you "U"

2003-10-21 02:58:16 PM
Since when has "Mr. Placid" Pat Sajak taken to tackling contestants?

2003-10-21 03:21:41 PM

Oh no!

2003-10-21 03:33:07 PM
REPEAT!!! From yesterday or the day before.

2003-10-21 03:35:22 PM
Mr. Sajak replied, "uh... that wasn't a 'hug'."

2003-10-21 03:36:57 PM
to think what I can sue my wife for then!

2003-10-21 03:37:19 PM
More terrifying than Kobe Bryant.

2003-10-21 03:37:30 PM
Mr. Sajak is that a vowel in your pants? Or are you just happy to see me?

2003-10-21 03:37:40 PM
Uhhh, yeah. Because everybody knows what a big, strong man Pat Sajak is.

Going to look for a pic of this guy and whether or not he won lots of money...

2003-10-21 03:38:29 PM
Charles Nelson Reilly once hit my shopping cart with his shopping cart at a grocery store.

Now I get headaches, a lazy eye, and flaming hemorrhoids.

I'm rich! Rich, I tells ya!

2003-10-21 03:38:56 PM

"Sajak wrecked his back when he gave him a bear hug and wrapped his arms and legs around him."

Weird.

2003-10-21 03:39:07 PM
I think this line, from a more well written article, really sums it up:

"I stick out my hand thinking he's going to shake it," Wright recalls. "Instead he jumps onto me, with his legs and arms . . . All I remember thinking was: 'This is Pat Sajak. Don't drop Pat Sajak.' "

2003-10-21 03:39:31 PM
Repeats made the Baby Jeebus cry.

2003-10-21 03:39:38 PM

Pat shouldn't have let him buy that vowel.

Thank heaven this guy was never on the old Family Feud, Richard Dawson might have slipped this guy the tongue and gave him mono.

2003-10-21 03:39:50 PM
Again!?

2003-10-21 03:41:30 PM
Sajak snapped one off on the guys back, that's sick.

2003-10-21 03:42:08 PM
Mr. Sajak is that a vowel in your pants? Or are you just happy to see me?

2003-10-21 03:45:58 PM
I agree the 2 mil is dumb. But back pain is no joke.

2003-10-21 03:48:45 PM
_ s s h _ l _

Yeah, I'd like to buy a vowel...

2003-10-21 03:51:37 PM
_NO_GH WITH TH_ F_CKING R_PEATS

i'd like to buy a "U"

and three "E"s

2003-10-21 03:53:10 PM
I saw this guy interviewed the other night. All he wanted originally was to have his medical bills covered. He wasn't trying to get rich. If Sajak did something that cost him $$$, OF COURSE the show should pay for it. It's not like this guy was just out to get rich off of a minor injury. The show refusing to cover his damages has made the whole thing spin out of control.

2003-10-21 03:55:08 PM
Well, that completes the trifecta of repeats for today.

2003-10-21 03:55:26 PM
aerumna - you need only buy one of each vowel, so you only have to buy one "U" and one "E."

There, I saved you 750.00

doing my part!

2003-10-21 03:37:40 PM Smarty-Britches

Uhhh, yeah. Because everybody knows what a big, strong man Pat Sajak is.

Going to look for a pic of this guy and whether or not he won lots of money...

I think the other article said that he won somewhere around $42K

2003-10-21 03:58:25 PM
Sajak's a Republican. Don't no one get hurt from no sissy Democrat hugs.

2003-10-21 03:59:25 PM
It wasn't a hug, Sajak jumped into the guys arms like a bride being carried over the threshold. I say sue the happy bastard.

2003-10-21 04:02:50 PM
It's always bittersweet.
Now put down that poison pen you stoneage romeo. :)

2003-10-21 04:05:12 PM
Oh Boy! Maybe we can get a threepeat on this one.

loving the article submission process. No, really...

2003-10-21 04:05:24 PM
Wheel of Fortune's still on the air?

2003-10-21 04:06:57 PM

2003-10-21 04:09:30 PM
In other news: Man sues Pat Sajak for back injuries from a hug.
Wow, I never saw that one coming. Oh wait, yes I did...the last time it was posted

2003-10-21 04:09:35 PM
Bump, It's good to see some people still appreciate great music. Like Wow, wipeout.

2003-10-21 04:13:46 PM
i'd like to buy an OOOOooooooooh

2003-10-21 04:15:53 PM
What a buncha crap. Tell me how you wrap both your arms and legs around somebody if you're not a chimp or in Circus de Soleil.

2003-10-21 04:17:58 PM
I'm gonna sue Vanna White, wrist injury,
punched the clown one two many times watching that show.

2003-10-21 04:29:28 PM
I think the man was in the right. Sajak didn't have to jump on the guy.

2003-10-21 04:30:31 PM
"All I remember thinking was: 'This is Pat Sajak. Don't drop Pat Sajak.'"

You don't hear that one every day, now do you?

2003-10-21 04:31:07 PM
The link won't work but he could have a real torts case of a battery. All it needs is an intentional touching that caused harm.

2003-10-21 04:40:53 PM

2003-10-21 04:41:13 PM
You know what? Who cares if this is a repeat? Sure, on an ideal Fark, there would be no repeats and free beer, but obviously, many of the people commenting in this thread weren't aware it ran two days ago. So again, who cares? Ain't hurtin' anybody none if a few articles slip every week.

2003-10-21 04:45:22 PM

Sajack might be a retard.

Sometimes they don't know how strong they are.

They hug so tight!

2003-10-21 04:48:44 PM
swahnhennessy

But Fark wouldn't be Fark without a surplus of whiners...

2003-10-21 04:51:06 PM
God help us all if Sajak decides he has to take a second job as a late-night talk-show host to cover these bills.
(shudders)

2003-10-21 04:57:20 PM
those of you complaining about repeats should go do some work or something. Farking is voluntary.

2003-10-21 04:58:23 PM
I'd like to solve the puzzle, Pat...

Gold... Digging.

2003-10-21 05:00:51 PM
The humiliation alone of having been hugged by Pat Sajak is worth at least 10 million.
