... oop, oop, oop-oop.

Seriously, that looked like volleyball. Bump, set and spike.

There's a name in the funny papers we all know.

Well at the very least, the Wolves aren't a total pile of shiat this year like they have been for what? The last decade? Rubio makes it that much more fun to watch.

(Alley-Oop) Wearing clothes from a wildcat's hide
(Alley-Oop) He's the King of the Jungle Jive

Oop Oop or not... The Wolves are plain fun to watch this season

Sorry, its Alley-alley-oop.

Get it right.

The Wolves have upgraded from the bad kind of lulz to the winning kind.

2012-02-08 02:20:01 PM
Wouldn't that be goaltending, since he grabbed it while it was in the cylinder?

RookStar: Rubio makes it that much more fun to watch.

I don't even care if we turn into a playoff caliber team if it stays this entertaining. We've been the Browns of the NBA since KG.

Yeah that was offensive goal tending

Girion47: Yeah that was offensive goal tending

You should know by now that the NBA doesn't actually give a shiat about the book-rules when they conflict with the Rule of Cool.

Alley-whoop-whoop? You can't explain that.

Guess I would if I watched the NBA, the only basketball I care about is NCAA.

Watch the last reply from under the basket, the ball is at least a foot out in the lane not in the cylinder. Just looks that way from the replays facing the basket.

Let's put it this way: The last time the NBA called traveling on a marquee player, the two-handed set-shot was all the rage.

I know you're not serious, but there was quite a big deal made about LeBron James and his crab dribble. I believe his defense was something along the lines of "That's not a travel because it's my signature move."

And to prep people for tonight's Duke-UNC game, here's Austin Rivers making the same argument: (new window)

After the whistle, Rivers kept after the official, barking a couple of "Hey, refs!" that failed to get his attention. He continued to press the issue and said something else, and the referee responded by giving Rivers a technical foul. Rivers no longer remembers his exact words, but he says they were something along the lines of: "That move is why I was the No. 1 recruit in the country. Stop calling a travel."

The most not called thing in the NBA? The carry.

+1

No one will listen

NCAA turns the ball over at a higher percentage, has fewer assists, shoots a lower percentage from the field including 3 point range.

Some think college is a "purer game" that reminds them of times they prefer - when Adolf Rupp was coaching :-)

Not really true.

The T-Wolves are pretty fun to watch. I wish the Kings would've drafted Rubio instead of Tyreke Evans, though Evans is coming around under Keith Smart.
