I can't get my head around the total narcissism of the Teatards. They honestly believe that so many Americans share their values that the more rabidly conservative the candidate, the better chance they have.
/And then, when they lose, it'll be all about the lib'rul media and voter fraud and all that.
//The arrogance of their cluelessness is truly breathtaking.

I'm surprised the Secret Service didn't do anything. The glitter bombing is not helping anyone but the attention whore who is doing it.

If you think the guy who collects public money for his own healthcare, then goes out and tells sick people they need to pay market prices for drugs because some "people are willing to pay $900 for an iPad," fine, nominate him... I'll do everything I can to see that this asshat has zero chance of getting elected.
The GOP- we're for smaller government, except when it means we get to decide what's right for you in your doctors office and your bedroom.

I'm reminded of the insular, vanguardist paranoia of Trotskyite and Leninist groups. They think they're the true representatives of "the people", and the only reason tens of millions haven't fallen in step behind them and elevated them to power is because of $insert_enemy_here.
Ultimately, they all share a tendency to seek power over others and throw tantrums when they don't get it.

I like that most people didn't bother to vote (1% in one state, 6% in another). Clearly the preferred candidate is "none of the above".

Actually, Santorum as an elected official who provided a service to the taxpayers receives public health. This is different than the democrat plan which would have everyone receiving public health just because they exist.
There's a difference between doing a job and being compensated for it and just getting something for free.

Watching the late news as they showed the results in Minnesota:
Santorum 44%
Paul 27%
Romney 16%

Santorum won every stingle county in Missouri and had more than twice Romney's vote total
Romney came in a distant third well behind RON PAUL in Minnisota.
Prediction: The media will not discuss just how bad Romney lost in these three races. It is understandable that these matter less than Florida but they should matter a lot more than Nevada because 1) Missouri and Colorado are actual swing states and 2) all three have at least twice the electoral votes of Nevada and 3) combined, these three states represent more votes than Florida (although Minnisota is probably a lock for the Democrats in November, especially this year.)

I really want Gingrich's reaction to this.
Dude's got a massive ego, I'm sure he's not equipped to deal with the fact that the GOP is touting him as the
obvious
conservative alternative to Romney, only to drop him as soon as the numbers turn against him. Even though it's happened to every other GOP candidate so far.
Of course, he's not out yet (these wins are largely symbolic, and Gingrich wasn't even on all the ballots), but it is inevitable.

They're just caucuses, they don't represent the will of the voters, plus weather was bad which meant only the zealots made it out to the polls. Besides, Romney won them all in 2008 and it meant nothing because he lost the primary.

If I learned anything this year about the primaries, its that the media doesnt know jack shiat about them. I have followed it cautiously this year, and the whole damn circus practically guaranteed a Romney massacre up until now. Santorum was said to be licking his wounds and trying to save face for the 2016 elections.
Then I wake up and headline news "Santorum takes 3 states and a sorta nomination".

I would guess that there was low voter turn out and the prop 8 decision had a disproportional get 'out the vote' effect for religious fundamentalists, skewing the results.

But sadly, we can't have nice things like a public option where we all pay one entity and they pay for the services. No, we need this system that makes the middlemen rich for doing a superfluous job.
But you didn't want to hear that, you're one of the new derp-on-demand trolls, aren't you?
There's a difference between doing a job and being compensated for it and just getting something for free.
