I've dressed as a zombie several times. Not a sexy zombie - a rotting-flesh, exposed-brain-matter, dead-eyed, blood-covered zombie. I've been hit on surprisingly often and enthusiastically. It's more than a little disturbing.

Part of the fun of the zombie apocalypse isn't just the running away, it's the slaying. Zombies represent the inner "tower defense" joy we all have of destroying copious amounts of something before it overwhelms us.

If we can't kill the zombies, then what's the point?

^This^... don't have any interest in it unless I can bring at least a few of my "toys". Or, even if they had paintball replicas of a variety of weapons so you could pick what you actually own (or what some people would want to own/use) to take out the zombies, it would be a blast (no pun intended)... just to see if you could make it through "alive".
